The job took 2 days. The workers arrived on time and as scheduled. They were very professional and finished the job in 2 days. We had some issuses with some cracked boards and they promptly fixed them for us. Overall, my husband and I are highly satisfied with our new fence. I would definealy recommend Seegars Fence Co. A+ work

We met the estimator at our house on June 30th and walked through where we would like the fence installed. Estimator said he would send us a written estimate that evening. We were impressed with the professionalism of the estimator at the time.
We did not receive the estimate until five days later. The price was about what we were expecting, but it was for a 6ft fence instead of the 8 ft fence we had discussed. We tried to call the company several times in the early afternoon to clear up the issue, but no one ever answered the phone.
My guess is that the company is just really busy, but the delay and the errors make me wary. I will not be hiring Seegars because I'm afraid this is a reflection of their punctuality, customer service, and attention to detail.

It went well. They came and finished it quickly. I am very please with the look and feel of the work. It looks better than I expected. It was a bronze lifetime guarantee no chip material. It looks very nice and professional.

Seegar responded with an estimate within 2 days and once contracted, made arrangements to make the repairs within 5 days. Their representative did the work and everything is great NOW! Fence is taught and all gates are operable.

It was a pretty easy process all along. Getting approval from my HOA for the new fence was a bigger hassle than any issues I had with Seegar's.

Update as of June 3, 2009: PROJECT STILL NOT COMPLETED!!! Another week and a half of run around by owner of company, Jason, who continually back-tracks, passes the buck, hasn't done the job and continues to negate contact with status reports, completion date, etc. We've been told the main gates (measured wrong a SECOND time) have had to be constructed from a higher grade material due to size. Huge metal support poles cemented in at each end of driveway must be removed, then reinstalled in proper place with bigger support poles. Project over-budgeted $950.00 from contracted price of fence/gates-on top of the over $450.00 for 2" ball caps which were never ordered by estimator Tony Smith. Seegar's also installed giant, ugly plastic gate locks/latches without our approval, as well as plastic hinges on two smaller walkway gates which Seegar's says are "much more durable," but look cheap and worthless on a project costing nearly $10K! AGAIN, STILL UNFINISHED! No calls from either Jason Daniels or Jason Chamberlin (owners), regarding status of modified gates or completion date. Absolutely the most unreliable, unprofessional company we've done business with in years! BUYERS BEWARE! THINK MORE THAN TWICE BEFORE CONTRACTING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! Nearly seven weeks since initial contact with company-contracted to begin work on April 27, 2009-and project remains incomplete. Gates (two walkway and two 18' driveway gates) still not built, nor has there been any status given on progress or installation. No reason why the two walkway gates haven't been hung. Neighbors ask how long it's going to take to finish-so, WE TELL THEM!!!! WE DON'T HAVE A CLUE!!! All we know is, we hope Seegar's Fence company can afford the publicity which will result from this nightmare experience! We tell everyone we know, NOT TO USE THIS FENCE COMPANY, and shall continue to do so for years to come! If Seegar's Fence Company thinks they're hanging any of their signage on our fence, either, they have another thing coming! Who would advertise such adversity!

It went very well. They gave us the estimate and came and did the work. No issues at all.

They have a good product. The install was fast which was great. The only problem I've had was trying to get them to fix a minor problem in their workmanship.

The actually installation was done quickly, professionally and with good quality. There was a small problem in executing the contract. A deposit for the project was mailed to the company. But after a week, they said that it had not been received. As it turns out, the deposit was received, but was misfiled against a different project. This delayed the start of the project by about 1 week.

THIS COMPANY STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK. WE HAD A LANGUAGE BARRIER WITH THE INSTALLATION CREW. WHEN WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE LOCATION, THEY WERE HAPPY TO MOVE IT TO WHERE WE WANTED.
