CARPET HUT

I called Josh at Carpet Hut to clean the carpets in 2 bedrooms and the stairs in a home I had just purchased on June 23rd. I left a key for him to perform the work and asked him to call me after he had looked at the carpet in a third bedroom because I was thinking of having him replace it rather than clean it. I didn't hear from him all day until late afternoon, he called and asked for payment for 3 rooms and stairs ($70 more than our agreed upon price because he had just cleaned the third bedroom rather than calling me about it). But he said the third bedroom carpet looked good so I paid him for that as well with my debit card. When I returned home from work on June 23rd, the odor in my home was horrible!! I looked down at the carpet and it was soaking wet -- but still dirty!! I called Josh back and he said he would come to my house on Friday to look at the problem and re-clean the carpets. At 4:00 Friday afternoon I had not seen or heard from Josh, so I called the store back -- Josh had gone to the beach Friday morning. I have repeatedly tried to contact Carpet Hut to try and resolve this problem but they have not called me back. I am very dissatisfied.
