Home Building
New homes have a structural warranty. Before 6 years my home has a 10" deviation from the highest point to the lowest (it's literally sinking). I have the kitchen ceiling falling down, a major supporting wall buckling, and the foundation is cracked through to the soil. I took the engineers report to Michelle Briese (Alex's wife)...Michelle is also a general contractor, not "just a realtor". I begged to keep it out of court and to simply fix my house. No one ever came to look at it. I had to hire an attorney...I have had to take a 2nd job...$5000 to attorney so far, $2500 to engineer, $1000 for repair estimate. The buckling wall is a fire hazard and cracked foundation will lead to cracked pipes for plumbing. I have 3 kids and no options but to stay in the house and pray that the justice system works.
