Our cabinets are built to LAST! We do not use fillers, laminated - pre-finished products and our European Hinges are screwed onto an all-wood face frame NOT the pre-finished/Laminated sides of the cabinets like the manufactured ones. Our custom cabinets are built in one piece for extra usable space and durability, not several boxes with fillers in between them. We use 3/4" USA plywood for shelves and box's, Drawers are all hardwood & dovetailed on both ends not plywood stapled together. 100 lb. ball bearing, soft close runners are used for our drawers. Our raised panel ends are built into the cabinet, not just a door glued on the ends. J&S also custom builds many accessories for durability (trash-can & spice pull-outs) etc. We also custom make the trim for our cabinets. We finish our cabinets using a professional High Quality lacquer finish beginning with a vinyl sealer to seal the wood for great moisture protection and two heavy duty finish coats for durability. Real wood COUNTERTOPS are another one of our specialties. We offer many edges and use a very durable, hard crystal catalyzed finish. Need Real Hardwood floors installed or re-finished? We can also install, finish and re-finish hardwood floors for you. We feel you will be very satisfied with our knowledge and workmanship as Johnny is a NC Licensed Contractor and has been in business for 20+yrs. We are a husband and wife team: J&S stands for Johnny and Sheila. We will be glad to provide you with references upon your request. We often set up at many home shows during the year and we have an online website as well as a visible showroom. At J&S we take our work very seriously and take a lot of pride in what we do, therefore we do everything from start to finish. We do not sub-contract any of our work therefore, you deal directly with us from the beginning starting with the consultations, designing, building, cabinet finishing, installing and touch ups.
