They did an excellent job and I will use them again in the future. I did not have any problems at all.

Had granite counter tops installed in the kitchen.  Once the kitchen was started, we used the cabinet layout and got several estimates and  picked World Art with locality helping to influence the decision.  Picked the granite from one the their distributors with a pattern that had 'flow' through the pieces, and would book end each other.  They then sent someone out to template the kitchen and we got problem #1.  The square feet from the template versus the estimate was off 30% and we now owed ~ $1200 more.  Template's were done, we went out to look at the placement, and the initial layout was across the grain and not with.  Tanya (rep) then argued with us that this was a much better look, but not what we wanted.  Problem #2.    The cabinet person went out of his way to make sure all of the cabinets were level, put the counter has a 1/2 inch shim at one end, so this does not lay flat on the cabinets on that end. Since the tile is in, this cannot be corrected since the tile would now be off.  Problem #3.  The cooktop was set into place but not yet installed, so this was not square to the back wall.  The templates did not adjust for this, and now the counter top has an uneven gap not square to the cooktop .  #4.  And to add insult to injury, the owner personally made a visit to collect the difference between the estimate and the actual cost, with no apologies for the job, or no call back after the problems were pointed out.

In short, the help we received up front was non-existent, work was shoddy, and service terrible.  This company is not recommended.

We started with a part-time person at World Granite and he didn't know everything, but he was nice and attentive. The company then assigned us to Tanya and she was awful. She didn't return our calls and when we did have to talk with her she was so rude and unprofessional we just wanted to cancel our order. When we asked questions she treated us like we were stupid. At the template placement she kept telling us it looked good to her, never caring about how we wanted it. We were too far into the process to cancel so we spoke to someone in the business office about how terrible this salesperson was. Everyone else was great. Appointments were kept to the minute. Jamie did the templating really well and wanted to make sure we were satisfied. Seraphim was great with placing the templates. The fabrication was done well and installation was very good. The only issue was they laid the slab against the cabinets before lifting it and it scratched the cabinets a little. After installation we were never called to ask how everything went nor were we told how to care for the counter tops. We did get a call from someone about the complaints about our salesperson and they apologized for her behavior and for the lack of follow up. Our total cost went up because somehow the square footage came in differently, but overall the price was reasonable.

The island top was cut too small. I had to argue for replacement to be made. They had poor communication. The finished job turned out OK.
