"Wallscapers has built it's business over the past 25 years in two different states on the East Coast by offering the best and highest quality workmanship coupled with excellent customer service We regret that our work did not meet your expectation's. I can assure you we never lied or cheated. We carefully control the quality of our work up to the time when the job is completed. My education and experience has allowed me the opportunity to provide unparalleled finishes in some of the finest Estate Homes to simplest powder rooms. After we discover what our clients needs are, we provide a custom sample board at no cost to ensure we are all on the same page with the style, finish and color. Each sample board, depending on how many rooms we are finishing is approved prior to starting any work. The sample board is a very intricate part of the process and becomes the bench mark for what the final product will look like. The sample boards also allow us to tweak the finish or color before the start of each job. Wallscapers provided this same service before the start of the job and it was approved by you and John. As the work is proceeding we again ask every client if the texture and color is what they like. At this point when we asked you how you liked the texture, you commented "Add more texture to the finish." Finally, once all of the work is complete we do a detailed walk through, ideally with all parties involved. Any touch ups or details are never to small, or minor, as we strive for happy customers 100% of the time. Finally, payment is due upon completion however, if there is an issue we will redo the finish for your 100% Satisfaction. When we met after all of the work was completed you stated "I love the extra texture, and the color used to paint the ceiling and water closet are lovely." Wallscapers was paid in full and everything was beautiful. However, it appears there was a communication issue because the first time I met John (your husband), he was not happy with the extra texture nor the choice of color...I reassured John that my only concern was to make him happy and that I would redo the job to his liking. My intention was to work around your schedule to make you satisfied customers. As a small business owner for twenty-five years this is the most important concern for me. Receiving a call at midnight to cancel the work and return your money seemed an unscrupulous way to do business. Even more hurtful is I was more than willing to redo the work but was never given the chance. You went and did something else to your walls then wanted all your money back. Taking this vicious approach to slander my name and reputation as well as hurt my lively hood with your dishonesty is ethically wrong. My integrity and honesty is the cornerstone of my business and my family. I take great pride in the quality of workmanship and my dedication to each and every job for the past 25 years. Please refer to my web site for countless referrals that I have received over my numerous years in business. Respectfully, Jerry Tobin"
