The work has gone well so far and really like the flexibility that he offers on various services. He's done leaf cleanup, pine straw, and bush trimming for us over the last couple of years and this year opted for him to also take care of the lawn. It's nice because he only cuts it when needed - ususally every week but sometimes only every ten days or so if it hasn't grown much. He seems to have good intuition about when the work needs to be done and only charges by the service. It's also nice that he's the owner/operator, so any communication about what or when you need something done is directly to him.

He was extremely helpful. He didn't charge me at all. I am very grateful that he shared with me his knowledge and advise. All I had to do was clean out the french drain to solve the problem. I would definitely call him for work in the future.

He is very personable and seems well educated. He caters specifically to our lawn. He mows difficult areas of our lawn. He gives good advice on how to keep our lawn looking its best. We have been very pleased with him.

I can't express enough how pleased I am, but will try. So much was done and so much more then I asked for! I have a very large retaining wall flowerbed that was overgrown immensely with crab grass, weeds, that had not been taken care of for sometime, as well as needing a large amount of mulch for both front and back o the house flower beds. Chuck came over and gave me an estimate. He arrived promptly and on time for the estimate. Chuck is a very nice man, and I was very pleased to have met him. We set a date after I received the more then fare price of $455, which if you would have seen the jungle growing, you would know how fare a total price this was. Today, Chuck arrived with another gentleman, exactly at the time promised and began working, and working hard. For just two of them they worked very hard and very surprisingly fast, compared to other landscapers I have used. But I got so much more then I asked for!!! To help prevent weed control, because I am lazy, he sprayed to help prevent weeds from growing before re-mulching. Then laid down the mulch, very thick. Other landscapers, I have used in the past didn't lay a thick bed like I originally asked, but Chuck did. It was so thick we even had some left over. Rather then charging me for mulch that wasn't needed and leaving the price stand, Chuck reduced the price as originally given from $455-$340, so I can highly recommend Chuck as a honest businessman, which I have found is hard to find. But not only did he do what I asked, he also sprayed for weeds as mentioned, he edged the flowerbed, and even sprayed the driveway cracks where weeds were growing, and the back stone walkway where weeds had overgrown, as well as edging the back flower bed to make it look very nice and stand out. I would highly recommend VAUGHAN LANDSCAPES!!!! I will definitely be in contact with Chuck again this fall for lawn needs, as well as landscaping, and landscaping maintenance. Again I am so happy with the work that was done, and the on timely response, I highly recommend Vaughan Landscapes. Thank you Chuck, and I look forward to doing business with you again.

Prior to our first service, Chuck came over, discussed our needs, and gave us for a price. He arrived promptly as scheduled and mowed at the height we discussed. Chuck was very helpful in advising us as to how often and what treatments we needed for our fescue lawn. We found him very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Mr. Vaughan promised to provide an estimate within a week of my call (time was not important to me) and he arrived as promised. We met on Saturday, when he quoted a price. When I arrived home on the following Turesday, the job had been completed, and Mr. Vaughan called me on Thursday to see if I was satisfied with the work performed. I was very satsified.

very well, Chuck was very open to discussion regarding unconventional plants. the new plants he brought in were as big or even bigger than what we hoped for and offered immediate privacy. One of the plants subsequently died and he offered us credit for a replacement. He also cut the grass a few times for us and the lawn looked great

Chuck was prompt with his estimate and in doing the work. He did everything I asked, and was very courteous. When they finished, the yard looked great. I would definitely hire him again.

Chuck was very responsive to my initial request for an estimate. We met and he was very specific about what was needed in the yard. His estimate was reasonable. We scheduled a time for him to work on the house and he completed the work as agreed.

It looks great. I'm a little worried one tree might not make it, but Chuck said there is a one year guarantee so he will check it again in the Spring.

Great. Chuck was knowledgeable about the plants that would suit my yard's lighting and water conditions (i.e. drought). He always showed up on time and did exactly what he said he would. I could not have been more pleased.

Chuck is always very responsive to my phone calls. His work is excellent. However, I am particularly impressed with his integrity. When I asked about aerating and reseeding our lawn, he stated that it would be a waste of our money, given the current drought. I appreciate his honest opinions and plan to call on him for all of our yard work.

Chuck was perfect right from the start - he called us back when we called him, he showed up when he said he would, and he was very clear about what he felt like he could do for us as well as the pieces that were better suited for someone else to perform (we had a large area where we needed brush removal and grating). We couldn't have been more happy with Chuck's work, price, and overall working relationship. Plus, he is a really nice guy!

Very well. He helped us choose some plants, made calls when we had questions on a plant's sturdiness, helped us figure out ways to keep the project within our budget.
