Vacuum Cleaners
This company had originally installed a central vacuum system in my home 10 years ago. The system needed repair. I trusted them, and they told me it was the motor of the system. The cost of the part was $300, and the labor to install it was $85. It was installed in 15 minutes. I later found out that I could have bought the part for $150, and the installation is as simple as plugging it in. I complained to the company about this and was given no satisfaction. They also charged me tax on the part and the labor. I feel this was a home improvement and should not have been taxed.
