Sales staff were courteous and professional, but the installers were terrible. They did a horrible job on the wood floor, and even worse on the carpet. I will need to pay someone else to re-do it. The installers were not only incompetent, but also rude. I would never use this company again.

The insurance company paid for it. They did  horrible job installing it and they had to come back and rip it out. They tried to pass off hard woods that had sharpie marks to cover where it didn't accept to stain. It looked like crap. I would never recommend them to anyone. I understand a lot of people have problems with them. They are horrible. The workers were okay but it took them from start to finish about 4 to 5 months to get the job completed to our satisfaction. It wasn't to our satisfaction, we had to settle.

It was not a positive experience overall.  The floors soon began cupping significantly.  They came and said it had to be caused by moisture.  He did readings that said the moisture was too high between boards.  He kept asking questions about appliances leaking, water leaking through a window, etc.  There were no leaks.  We looked under the crawlspace together.  Completely dry.  My point was that the moisture level was likely the same as it was at the time of installation; he said no, because if it had been that high, the guys working would have noticed and not installed.  I felt it should not be ruled out that maybe the guys working weren't taking the readings.
It's a long story of the manager coming out to visit, first alone and then with the sales rep. for the flooring company.  The rep made some recommendations to get an A/C inspection, tear up a few boards, investigate, relieve pressure in one area where the installers brought the wood super tight against the drywall instead of leaving room for expansion.  I got my A/C inspection and nobody from USA flooring every followed through on their end.  Since that time, floor board after floor board keeps loosening and moving underfoot.  Very disappointing.  It was an expensive project and I regret using USA Flooring.

Overall the experience was NOT excellent. I would give them a "good" rating,  but not sure if I would use them again.  We used the location in Durham, NC
The crew that installed the carpet also moved our furniture and dinged up a few pieces pretty good.  Our bed in the master bedroom had chips in the wood (they had taken it apart and stored it in our master bathroom during the installation).   They did not point this out or apologize, I just found the issues after they left and know for certain it was their damage as we recently moved into the house and I had already inspected the furniture from the movers so I knew where any pre-existing scratches, etc...were - these were new.
Crew also was loud and played music, etc...even though I was working from home.  Overall they just did not appear very professional nor were they able to communicate well.   Ideally we would have liked to have our salesperson or a project manager to at least show up at the end of the day to review the work and ensure it was done properly.
The amount of carpet needed was either underestimated or the vendor shipped too little or there was a mix-up on the order, but either way we were short on carpet in the media room and had extra carpet in the bedroom (we had 2 different styles in each room).   I was told they would "rush" an order of the media room carpet to finish the job as soon as possible.  A week later I still had no carpet on the media room staircase and had to call and ask what the issue was.   Again was given reason that vendor was slow to ship (not sure what happened to the "rush" shipment I was promised initially).
They did finally get someone out on a Saturday to finish the job and they did give us a small discount for our troubles after we asked for it.   Overall the carpet looks ok but we do notice a lot of lumps/bumps in certain areas where it seems like we can feel the carpet staples underfoot when we walk barefoot on the carpet.   So far we haven't had any issues with the carpet coming up, etc...and we hope it stays that way - but overall I am not certain the quality of the installation was the best out there.    We do love the carpet itself which is more praise to the manufacturer than the installation vendor.  We ordered a soft carpet from Dreamweaver in both rooms and really like the look/feel of the carpet.
Based on our experience I am not sure we would use again.  I think they could improve their process by having a project manager check in on the job and having better communication with the customer.

I debated for a long while what type of wood floors to put in my combined kitchen/family room.  I decided again the cheapest (Lumber Liquidators) because I wanted to be sure it was done well.  I thought USA Flooring would give me that peace of mind.  I was told I should replace a portion of the family room subfloor but not replace the kitchen subfloor.  Instead, I was told to install the floor right over the old linoleum in the kitchen portion.  I pointed out how uneven and old the linoleum was- he assured me it would actually be even better than subfloor because linoleum is so moisture proof.  The people who came to do so the work took longer than expected and seemed rushed on the last day.  I had to have them come back because three doors did not close (the bottoms of the doors scraped against the floors because the floor was now higher than it had been).  It seemed like I should not have had to point this out.  They also did not reinstall the washer/dryer closet bi-fold doors, and said they would no longer work there.  Upon completion of the job, it was established that there were a few problems, and they fixed all but one at the time (it's August now).  The one that is still unfixed is that in an area of the family room that had no baseboard molding at the time, where the installers brought the wood was right up to the drywall, without leaving a gap for the wood to expand, as it customary.
The next part is the worst part: within weeks of install, the flooring that covers the kitchen area began cupping.  It has become very noticeable and really stands out.  The salesman I had been working with came out and said cupping is not an installation issue and would not happen unless there was a moisture problem.  He asked and inspected for signs of an appliance leak or burst pipe, none of which had happened.  He tested the moisture levels between the wood and said they were much higher than acceptable in the kitchen, but okay in the family room.  There is no cupping in the family room.  He stated the installers would not have installed the wood at the time without first testing the moisture level.  I am very skeptical about that.  He had the store manager come out, who stated he would like to try to help problem solve.  He examined the crawl space for signs of moisture problems and found none.  I have a sealed crawlspace under the kitchen floors, where there is a dehumidifier.  My logic is that the kitchen is the only area which did not have a new subfloor, and it's the only area that is cupping.  The manager said he will have the wood rep. come out and take a look.  Three weeks passed without a word.  I called last week, and was told the salesman who worked with me had quit abruptly, but that the manager would call me the following day.  4 days passed, so I went there in person today.  The manager was working and told me the regional manager had told him he really doesn't need to be having the wood rep. come out to my house, since cupping is "not an installation problem."  However, he said he would still be in touch about having the wood rep. come out.  I feel at a complete loss for what to do.  My gut says the salesman should not have discouraged me from having the old linoleum and subfloor torn out and a new subfloor put in.  I wanted it done as "right" as possible.  Now I have a brand new maple floor that looks really terrible, to be frank.  Everyone who sees it notices the cupping.  I really hope they will make this right, but I'm feeling as though the problem-solving is going nowhere.  The salesman made a big deal about how USA Flooring will stand by their work and warranty, as opposed to Lumber Liquidators, who often gets into a dance where LL blames problems on the installers, and the installers blame problems on the quality of the LL wood, and nothing is solved.  Aside from all of this, I can also say that in the 4 houses where I've had hardwood floors, I have never had a floor with a finish that scratches so easily.  It's really disappointing, and I do not have the funds to have the floors redone.  If I have a positive outcome, I will certainly be responsible and update this review.

Was told it would take installers one day.  They arrived 11:30 AM, worked until 9:00 PM and didn't finish.  Came back next day at noon, worked until 4 PM and ran out of material (molding).  This was a Sunday so they were unable to go to the store to pick up more molding.  Now one week later they are back (an hour late) to complete the job.  The molding was put on terribly with gaps- obviously rushing the job.  Also, the old molding had to be removed to install the floor and new molding put down.  The new molding does not come up as high as the old molding.  Therefore there is now visible strip of unpainted/unfinished trim from where the old molding was removed.  The installer realized this and informed me of the issue as soon as he walked in the house.  The salesman who came to measure and do the estimate prior to starting the job did not have the knowledge anticipate this so I could factor the cost of painting into the budget (or find molding the same size as the old molding).
I called to complain.  They don't seem sorry/apologetic about any of this.  Don't waste your time with these people.

Travis at the Durham store was very helpful and very patient as we sorted through our options and figured out what we needed to do. He didn't try to upsell me. He informed me about important aspects of the job that really helped me figure out was was essential and what was not. This service can't be underestimated!
The installer was timely, efficient, neat, and did a good job. He did leave some glue on the flooring what we had to remove ourselves.
Overall, we are very happy.

Flooring we picked would not be available (after we were told it would) by our closing date. The builder would not wait. We were given a substitute which looked good in the show room. It was not climate acclimated on installation ( the windows were open, the AC was off and it was not left in the space for 3 days prior to installation). It was not installed properly, pops and creaks and has since day 1. IT also cupped the first summer and the wood has cracks in it. Our builder refused to get involved because we wanted to use USA instead of the flooring he chose. He said it was our problem since we had already closed. We did get the manager @ USA to come out and look at it, We also paid for a certified flooring inspector to come and do tests on the floor vs moisture damage USA said caused the cupping. The report said the flooring was substandard, and the company should replace the floor. Then USA said I had to contact the manufacturer to get them to replace it. USA refused to replace the floor, they did offer to sand and refinish it, but then backed out of that as well. Long story short, my floor looks and sounds awful, and the only way we could get this fixed was sue the company. We did not have money at the time to go to court, so, 5 years later, I am stuck with this floor. Thanks USA flooring, for nothing.

We had used USA Flooring to replace all of the carpet in our home 4 years ago when we first moved in and since needed to replace the carpet again in the bonus room area due to pet issues.   4 years ago we really liked working with both the sales people and the crew.  For this project, Mitchell was great to work with, great attitude, easy to get a hold of, all around awesome person.  He is the only reason why there isn't a worse Rating in each of the areas.   The crew that came out to do the installation was on time and I showed them where we had issues with the pets.  The quote included replacing the padding, carpet, tack strips plus a new coat of Kilz.   The person in charge of the crew started to tell me that the tack strips didn't need to be replaced and there was already Kilz down but I said that's what we were quoted and what we expected.   The crew then got to work.   When they were done I inspected the work and noticed white paint on our hardwood stairs which was the Kilz and got the crew to come back in to clean. The person in charge was annoyed but came back and cleaned.   While going through our upstairs hallway I noticed carpet fibers and some trash in our daughter's doorway (down the hall from the bonus room) and then noticed damage to our drywall.  I told the person in charge and he started to argue saying they did not go down the hallway but came up to look.  He saw the amount of carpet fiber and freshly scratched walls and tried to buff out the black marks.   I then saw more chipped drywall on the corner and his response was "well what do you want us to do", "this is what happens when you move furniture".   I said I would work it out with Mitch and they left immediately.  Later in the evening we found deep gashes in our hardwood floors and more damage to a doorway.  The doorway looked like they had tried to jam a piece of furniture through over and over.  Right now we're in the process of trying to remedy the paint and the floor damage and I think Mitchell will help us and I will post an update when we've resolved the damage issues.  Overall, I'm really bummed because we had such a great experience 4 years ago but due to the attitude and lack of care of the installation crew I would not use them again.  The carpet install looks fine so clearly they're good at that but the mistreatment of our home was very clear.

Mitchell showed me appropriate carpets for my rental property and made recommendations.  He also ensured that the subfloor damage was corrected.  I was happy with the service provided and the carpet looks fine.

Scott gave an awesome price  for the replacement of one bedroom in condo that was destroyed by former tenants. After hearing my story about smells coming from subfloor since carpet was cleaned and odor remained he has his crew of 3 men show up in 2 days with floor sealant. The men I had very extremely fast, curtious, and did a magnificent job. I will purchase from Scott again for more carpeting in this unit. The carpet is of quality just like Scott's customer service and the fasted carpet laid I have ever witnessed in my many years with dealing with carpet installers.

I did business through the Durham location.  The rep was professional, straightforward on everything, answered all questions and showed me a range of options.  The installation crew was friendly and respectful and did a great job on the work.  Took less than a day and my apartment looks completely different now.  I'm happy with the experience all around.

Worked with Evan to do the sale.  He was incredibly responsive, flexible, and scheduled us quickly.  Really willing to do whatever it took to make our lives easier.
Team that did install was great and I was really comfortable having them in the house.  They worked fairly late into the evenings to get the job done and finished a day earlier than estimated.

The sales person was very prompt and gave an accurate estimate for the job to be completed.  I had carpeting installed on the steps and hardwood flooring in a hall and bedroom.  They arrived to install the hardwood floors first.  That was supposed to be completed in a day, but they did not order enough of the wood flooring, so they came back a week later to finish.  That was a pain and meant that I had to be home another day for installation.  However, once the job was completed, it did look really nice.
When they arrived to put the carpets on the steps, they had to return the carpet because it needed to be bound on the sides, which meant that installation was also delayed.  However, the final outcome looks fantastic.  I love the carpet and have had many compliments on it.
