Rick Boozer presented himself as a licensed contractor for our remodeling project. Rick was very enthusiastic and we thought we were happy to work with him. He was friendly, outgoing, and very easy going. Come to find out, Rick is not a licensed contractor. Things went from bad to worse when agreements could not be made about the project. Rick threatened to keep $10,000 plus without completing any work - other than beginning demolition on the kitchen and tearing off the screen porch and decks at the back of the house.
Word to the wise, be sure you research your contractor and know that he is licensed and insured.
Luckily, this story has a happy ending. We were able to get all money back from Rick and our project completed to our satisfaction by a licensed contractor.
