We hired Timesavers Landscaping to build a tiered stone edge wall for our front yard flower garden & add sod to the side yard. They finished today & the results are fantastic!! Eric took the time to talk about the design & any potential drainage issues given our sloped grade on one side. With Eric’s input, & a few pictures of what we wanted, we had a clear plan moving forward. The team, Eric, Michael, Tyler & their workers, communicated clearly throughout the process, were professional, easy to work with, and delivered exactly what they promised at a fair price. Their craftsmanship is excellent, and the project went smoothly from start to finish. We did have one issue with the stone. The big box store was selling defective stone so, at the last minute, Eric found different stone. What he found was even better & not that much more expensive. This was all easily resolved within 2 days. I would absolutely hire them again (we have plans for the back yard) and highly recommend their work!

Attributes - Promptness, Pricing, Quality work and highly personal. I hired Eric for a driveway culvert extension. He called me the day of my request and was at my house a couple days later to work up the quote. His quote was reasonable and he let us know he would be able to do the job within a week. It is quite rare these days to have anyone in the service industry do anything in a timely manner. Eric had the job completed within 10 days of our initial conversation. Very impressive!! His job was thorough and quite impressive. I recommend him to anyone that is interested in landscaping service in the Roanoke Valley area.

When Eric Weisman met me in my front yard on June 11, 2021 he agreed to remove the Sawgrass spray & rake the area for $150. On June 16, 2021 Eric confirmed via email these services for the $150 price and he agreed to let me know when he had a specific time. Upon completion of the work, I told Eric via a phone conversation on June 22, 2021 I would be paying him with a money order. In that conversation, he agreed to that form of payment. He told me in a text message on June 22, 2021 there is definitely no rush. I never thought you weren't going to pay me. I know you're good for it. I'll send the email over. After I left him a bad review on Angie's list, on June 24, 2021 Eric texted me: what's with the bad review on Angie's List. the work was done correctly. I texted back: you should have waited for me to answer my phone. It's not all about the quality. You will get paid. Via text from Eric on June 25, 2021 he told me after 14 days he attaches a late fee of $50 if he hasn't received payment in full and Eric told me if he has not received full payment after 60 days, August 23, 2021, he will take me to small claims court. This was the first time Eric told me these two details. Via my text on June 25, 2021 Eric knows I am mailing him a money order in the amount of $150 on or about July 15, 2021 to the address on his invoice 3509 Chaparral Drive SW Roanoke Virginia 24018. Eric knows he will need to sign for the mailing. Eric stated in a text to me you have all the information you need on my invoice when I asked him to confirm that address. I have since blocked his cell number. I have all of these text messages and emails. I left him an 11 second voicemail to call me on his landline on June 30, 2021. He has since blocked my phone number on his landline.

"The job turned out beautifully, and I did the work for the price she suggested. I called her when my guys were on their way and she didn't answer her phone. As of this time I still have not been paid."

Eric was prompt, professional, and his price was very reasonable. He's also very honest. I tried to pay him more than the contract, because that was what I remembered, but he wouldn't allow me. The embankment turned out beautifully. We get compliments on it every day. I can recommend this company without hesitation!

Erik and his team completed all the work in one long, very hot day. They were polite, focused on the work needed and here to stay until the work was finished. They cleared overgrown beds, dug up and replanted azaleas and a small tree and applied mulch thruout 3 beds. My yard looks so much better! Thank you TIMESAVERS.....I would use them again. Tip...Check Angieslist for coupon....I did not see it earlier.

Seemed friendly at first and has a good rating on Angie's List. We were very specific about what we wanted. The walkway needed to sweep around slightly with a slope to the lawn. The company owner/contractor arrived to begin the job and removed a small concrete slab that was right in front of the house. He had trouble removing it and left his huge tractor and the partially removed concrete slab in place for nearly four days making it difficult to enter our home. He did return when both my husband and I were at work, removed the slab and then drove across our lawn and dumped it into our woods. He left ruts in our yard in the process and never repaired them. We asked him to remove the slab and he stated that it was too heavy for his trailer. In the meantime, we purchased the pavers, the sand and the edging and he picked them up. He left his trailer on the lawn. He and a worker arrived on a Saturday to begin the work and, initially, on the straight part, it looked good. He rented a saw and located it on our front porch never advising us to move our outside furniture. He never cleaned up the dust or the mess on our porch. As he started to round the corner with the pavers, my husband stated to him that he should "snap a line" to get a clean and precise edge. He acknowledged my husband's comments and went about placing more pavers. My husband went to work and I went grocery shopping and to attend to other Saturday errands. When I returned home, I noticed that the edges were still ragged but assumed that he would cut more pavers to even out the edge. We didn't see him for another four days. And, on the fourth day, when we returned from work, the walkway was, according to the contractor, done. All of his equipment was gone and he left all of the trash (plastic from the pavers, miscellaneous trash, etc.). I called him and told him how upset we were and he stated that when he asked us (and he did at the very beginning of the process when the edge looked good) how we liked it we said it was fine. We paid him 1/2 of the quotes price up front and purchased all of the materials. When we told him how dissatisfied we were, he said that the only thing he could do was take up the walkway and try again. There are currently high and low (uneven) areas in the walkway and, of course, the ragged edges not to mention that he placed cracked pavers down. And to add insult to injury, he did not clean up the area he tore up to put the walkway in. There was still gravel and garbage all along the walkway. My husband and I cleaned it up. We did not have the option to have him tear up the walkway and start again as my husband was scheduled for hip replacement surgery, which was the purpose for having the walkway put in place. He was quite insistent that we pay him the remainder of the job. So, we did, grudgingly. And, now that time has gone by, I am furious with myself that I did so. This was just the worst experience. He did state that he felt bad that we were so unhappy but offered no compensation or any other solutions to the problem other than to tear it up and start again. And finally, there is a gate, which we keep closed, from the carport to the front yard. We are no longer able to close it as the new walkway will not allow.

"There were some definite communication issues on this job, and I hate that it ended up the way that it did. This was a learning curve, but i do regret that it resulted in such a disappointment for the customer. I just wish they had been more available for questions to make sure we were all on the same page."

They are hardworking guys and are responsive to emails. They rented a stump grinder and weren't able to complete the job so I contacted them recently to see if they could come back to complete the work and they weren't able to but they did give me a partial refund which I was fine with.
