Tim charges 125 / hr which is not pro-rated if the job runs under an hour. He did two jobs for us, the second of which required precision cutting and assembly as we needed to created enough surface area to which attach garage door weatherstripping. It was done in under an hour. Also, he is very personable. Our any concern was that he left us a pile of sawdust on our driveway and while he was very apologetic after I brought it to his attention, he never came back to clean up. Other than that, the work was done professionally and fully met our expectations.

Tim did a superior job; I couldn't be happier with the quality, professionalism and price of his work.  I will definitely be using Tim again.

We've used Tim 3 times in the last year, and we're compiling a list for his next visit.  He's smart and efficient and very capable. This last time he hung our new flat screen, repaired the cabinet door, adjusted our water heater and fixed the chronic leak in the shower. Tim arrives on time, works fast and doesn't stop and charges a fair price.  As long as I can hire Tim, I don't want to hire anyone else.  Judy

I never heard back from him.  I called again and he did not return my calls.
I have used him in the past and he was very good.  I do not know what happened.

I have unsuccessfully tried to use Tim McWilliams of and quot;Tim's Tool Beltand quot;. We mutually terminated our work agreement after he failed to meet his promises for the work schedule after a 21 day time schedule for a porch re-screening job turned into 60+ days with myself and a porch screen manufacture finishing the job. I would give him an incomplete which turned into an lousy experience when I found out he switched screen frame suppliers which in turn seem to have caused the order for screens to go unfilled from the agreed to supplier and led to a seeming endless list of excuses. The work that he did do required some of my time for rework such as re-trimming the bottom of the porch door so it didn't scrape on the deck when opened. The frames needed some re-alignment which he did do. He did successfully hang a new porch ceiling fan without my request (not in the job scope) that I had purchased but hadn't yet decided I was going to keep.
Several scheduled work days turned into no shows.
After several failed attempts to meet with him in person to understand his difficulty with the job completion and after finding that the screen order was not placed with the original supplier I requested that the job be terminated and I pay for the work completed.
I completed the job with the assistance of the original porch screen company owner at North State Exterior Solutions.
Response from Tim's ToolBelt, LLC
"Unfortunately I encountered issues with having screens built by small shop operation. Their delays resulted in my continued delays for this screen job. I completed the initial portion of the job but was unable to continue due to the delays. I offered to build screens myself but [member name removed] and myself decided to let the original screen company complete the order so we could avoid any delays. The fan was installed and not charged, simply as a means of being nice. [member name removed] left the fan with no instructions while on vacation. As an additional note [member name removed] did not acquire my services through Angies List."

Not well. After trying to make arrangements to meet and explain what I needed Tim seems to be too busy to take on the work. I'd rather someone just told me they're too busy than keep kicking the can down the road. Decided to find another service.

I wanted to buy some of the materials myself, and Tim was completely responsive and helped me get the right products.
He estimated the work to take 3 weeks and that is what it took. The siding looked beautiful (he removed and disposed of all of the old masonite siding.) The paint job was beautiful. His crew was courteous, punctual and completely professional.
I would highly recommend his work.

Tim came in on the day he had scheduled and got right to work. He taped the trim, spackled and cleaned the walls and put up the
base coat. On the next day he painted and put up the wire duct, painted and repaired book shelves and finished up the walls.
After he finished we walked through to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. He then cleaned up the materials, replaced the wall plates, rehung pictures and replaced furniture.
Tim has done several other jobs for me. He has completely renovated a bathroom, put down floors and he has installed wooden
ceilings. I enjoy working with Tim. He will take his time and discuss the job to be done and the price. Tim's work ethics are very
high. He is my #1 go to guy for any repairs and updates in my home.

I am just tired of waiting for his services.
Response from Tim's ToolBelt, LLC
"Member. I apologize for this. If you are still in need I will complete the install for you next week for only materials and 1/2 ($35) the labor for the items discussed. I am not sure how else to make up for the oversight. Thank you. Tim"
