I remember that the day went very, very well.  David was prompt, professional and courteous.  He asked questions to make sure he installed the rods and shades as I wanted.  Once the ceiling fans were installed he took time to explain to me how the remotes worked with the different light switches.  There were many replacements of light fixtures and all of them were well installed.  I was very happy by the end of the day. The light and fan fixtures that were replaced were 20+ years old and now each room had a fresh look.

Job took a week. All problems were resolved efficiently.

The quality of work was very high I would recommend working with him again. He is my go to contractor now. It was more expensive than the other quotes I received but I thought the quality would be better. I will continue to use him in the future.

We were very satisfied with the service.  He repaired a crack at the bottom of our stairway and checked for a leak from pressure washing and painted around a light fixture.  We will be calling him again.

I've used him for a lot of different things. He is very knowledgeable, professional and fair. If he can't handle it, he knows somebody that he can refer it to. Any subcontractor he has referred has been as wonderful to work with as he is to work with. He is my go-to guy and I call him first. We are talking to him about all kinds of other things and we will absolutely continue to use him.

David made the cutting and installing of the crown molding look effortless, it totally changed the look of the hall and stairs, can't wait to have him back to do the rest of the upstairs rooms.
The stairs are u-shaped; the walls along the landings have been trimmed from the ceiling to the floor - it looks amazing. The original plan we had been talking about for years carved up a large blank wall with alot of detail. In the end the layout was simplified, because David listened. I always visualized lots of panels, very balanced. I had never considered the side walls or the ceiling. David suggested adding these areas and the work began. As things progressed he took the time to layout the panels in different patterns and brought my vision in line with my sense that the overall effect should be subtle.
Even it's raw state it was quite impressive and then painted it came to life. It's a focal point but not bossy, we love it. The prep and painting were done with the same attention to detail and care as the installation.

David met with us to discuss our plan for removing a wall in an upstairs hallway to open it up to the rest of the hallway. He was the only one to note that an existing stair nosing would have to be removed so that the new railing base would meet the nosing with a miter cut. Everyone to that point had planned to just butt the new base up to the existing nosing. He was also the only one to question the foundation layout even though the wall in question appeared to be non-load bearing from above. He was flexible enough to get everything done and then some, so we could get our new floors installed. His attention to detail was one of the qualities that helped us decide to move forward with his help. His estimate was one of the highest we received, but feel that we made the right decision and that the process and results were well worth the cost.
We have since had David back to solve a storage problem in the attic for us. He listened to what we wanted, gave us his honest opinion (our ideas were expensive and would give us very little storage).  He then figured out a solution that would give us the storage we needed for less than what we planned to spend. Great to know that we can trust him to spend our hard earned savings wisely.
David is personable, honest, thoughtful, talented, a hardworking family man. Everyone he has brought into our home has been the kind of craftsman we would definitely have back again.

Nothing to tell, just perfect.

David arrived on time and collected all the information for the estimate.  He was thorough and polite.  That evening I received an email quote detailing the cost broken down by materials and labor.  I supplied the paint and he purchased the remaining materials.David arrived 30 minutes early the day of the job and helped prep the location for his team.  They were able to completely restore the house to it's original condition and cleaned up and removed all the old material.  At the end of the job David asked me to inspect the repair and I asked him for some additional work to help keep the squirrels from getting back in the house.  He came up with a clever solution and performed the work for no additional charge.

We contracted Mr. Lambeth well in advance of the dates we wanted the work done in order to have a tight schedule that involved movers and carpet installation, all in a 1 week period. The crew was punctual, efficient and finished major parts of the job in time for the carpet to be installed. Overall, the work was professional and thorough.

I recently sold my home.  From the house inspection, there were several items that needed to be repaired.  Since I had had David do repairs for me previously, I called him for this big job.  He arranged my work into his schedule knowing that I didn't have a lot of time to get the work done before closing.  He completed all the work in a day and 1/2 and did a great job.  He is a pleasant person to work with and is upfront about what needs to be done and works to keep cost to a minimum.  I highly recommend him and would hire him again.

My husband and I were in the process of purchasing a new house.  We needed a licensed, general contractor to paint the house, install new hardwood floors as well as install new toilets.  I went to Angie's List, read some of the feedback and called a few general contractors. I asked David to come to the new house and he provided an estimate based on the work requested.  During this initial visit, we asked him about installing hardwood floors in the living room. He works with Clayton Flooring and Design Center and wanted to come back during a separate visit. 

During the second visit, David Lambeth introduced us to David Wooding, owner and project manager for Clayton Flooring. Both David's went thru the house and took measurements.  During this consultation, David Wooding provided quotes for work. He quoted complete installation of hardwoods thru out the house as well as partial installation of hardwoods / new carpet.  His quotes included turnkey service which involved removal / disposal of old carpet and installation of hardwoods and/or carpet. During this visit, David Wooding brought carpet samples for my husband and I to take home.  Although we requested hardwoods, he came prepared to provide estimates for carpeting.

We decided to go with David Lambeth and David Wooding.  David Lambeth provided a quote and the final bill was exactly as quoted. He said he would finish the work in 5 days and his team stuck to the schedule. I would come over to the house (we hadn't moved in) during the evening and the painters were still in there working. The painters did a WONDERFUL job and my husband and I were very pleased.  David and his team were very professional and they did a fabulous job.

The hardwood floors were installed in the time quoted.  This job was especially unique because Clayton Flooring had to match the new hardwoods with existing hardwoods.  They did a wonderful job as well and we were very pleased with their work.

I am a stickler for wonderful customer service. My husband and I received EXCELLENT work within a very reasonable price and stellar customer service. I would highly recommend David Lambeth and his company. 

It went great. We sent David an inspection report before he arrived and he analyzed the tasks needing doing. He arrived and we added to the list. He went to work. He was here most of three days and bought all the supplies and knocked out our list one item after another. The work he did was flawless. The house is beautiful and we couldn't have done it without David's help.

Specifically, David paid great attention to detail, finished the tasks quickly and at a reasonable cost. He cleaned up and left the house in perfect condition.

I recommend David without hesitation. He's one of the good ones.

I am very pleased with the quality of work that was done and the quantity of projects that were completed. I had a project list prepared, and after a quick walk-through, David jumped right in. He was very responsive go my concerns, and stuck with problems until a satisfactory solution was found. When he finished, everything was back in order and clean. I am now getting an estimate for having more work done.

I left him an email around 10 am and he was at my house by 11:30 am and completed the work by 12:15pm.  Excellent service and I would highly recommend David Lambeth to do work again for anyone.

 I called on a Friday morning about a broken gate and David replied within the hour.  He arrived  at my home soon afterward knowing I needed  the work completed that day.  It was also one of the hottest days of the year and although the project required more time than we originally thought, he stayed out there in the almost unbearable heat until it was completed.  I was very impressed and couldn't have been happier with his work.  The new gate looks better than I ever expected. He was prompt, courteous and left the worksite perfectly clean. Project took 2 days to complete and another day for the painting.

Our company Economy Exterminators is going thru remodeling it's entire office.We have used The Lambeth's Comapny several times in the past. This time David Lambeth and his crew installed a new seperation wall, 3 doors and windows. After the sheetrock they came and stained all woodwork and painted the walls and intalled new carpet in those new office areas. When the offices were completed, David's crew completely renovated our kitchen area. David coordinated all the subs and they did an excellent job. David and all of his subs are very pleasant and have always been very accomodating and willing to change his schedule to meet ours.The entire office staffs loves the all of the upgrades.We already have projects in the future that we are scheduling with David Lambeth. We would highly recommend The Lambeth Company.
