"Hi [Member Name Removed], We at The Artful Garden confused by your review. First off we completed your design June of last year yet you left us a review recently concerning issues you never discussed with us. It's too bad Angie's List don't allow images to be show or else we would post your design with all the details up for everyone to see what a fantastic job was done on your property. Furthermore, what makes this review really strange is how excited and all the wonderful things your mentioned to us through the emails about your design. You even wanted us to come back out to the property to take a look at your retaining wall installation! And I quote "Andrew -- our new retaining wall is done! Now the fun starts! [Member Name Removed] This is a very unfair review and one that I hope Angie's List looks into more. And for those that are interested in using our services please not that we have no idea why [Member Name Removed] is leaving such a review. Her designed turned out incredible and the plant legend and material used was easy to read. Again... I'm so confused why you are just now leaving a review on a design we completed almost a year ago. We thought your design process went well and you were happy."

Was told entire project would take 3-4 weeks but it took almost 2 months to receive a 3D landscape plan that I was not satisfied with. He requires payment upfront and once you pay him it can take a week to get back to you. I was so exhausted from all the back and forth we had over the 2 months I didn't want to deal with him anymore so I just took his final design. I saw other reviews on his company Facebook page and Houzz page claiming he took payment for jobs and never responded and felt obligated to let other members know about him. He has since deleted both of those accounts so no one will see those reviews.

"Hi [Member Name Removed], Hopefully Angie's List will look into your false claims and remove this review. The situation with [Member Name Removed] is simple. [Member Name Removed] changed his mind many times on what he wanted done with his yard. We don't mind making modifications but we cannot simply keep on making changes for months and months. If anyone see this review and is interested and the amount of modifications [Member Name Removed] kept on asking for we would be glad to provide you with his entire design images so that you can see the amount of changes that was made going back and forth. The one thing that using our services offer is 3D visuals. Once you "see" how your home can look with a design sometimes it can cause you to want to see all types of variations. We don't mind showing you different looks but we cannot just spend lots of time making changes after changes. We offer all of our modifications for free. Since we don't charge we cannot spend lots of time giving our clients several different styles for their home. I know it very exciting to see different looks but it's not fair to the designers once you have received many different looks. In the end [Member Name Removed] was not even sure what he wanted once we got going into the designing process. We try to help our clients come up with solutions and new ideas but not everyone can be pleased. We have TONS of positive reviews from many of our clients. In the end it very true what they say... some people just can't be pleased no matter how hard you try."

I got a deal through Groupon and had the work drawn up. Artful Garden was very helpful and nice to work with. This was for about 1/2 acre lot. A breeze, wish all jobs were as easy.

I was introduced to Andrew by a friend, who had used his services and was very pleased. Initially, I was looking for help in landscaping a problem area of our yard. Andrew's ideas and design were awesome. I was so impressed that I immediately called him to help with a design for an expansion of our patio with a firepit. I needed a quick turnaround on this, because we were scheduled to begin the work shortly. Andrew delivered!! Within a few days, I had a beautiful design which I was able to give my contractor. More important, I was able to see what the finished product would look like. Andrew is the best. He loves what he is doing, and it shows. I highly recommend The Artful Garden.

We just bought our home and it sits on half an acre. The yard was a disaster and had not been taken care of in a long time. We desperately needed help. We had a large back-yard, two side yards and a front yard that needed to be landscaped and pulled together. The Artful Garden came out and consulted with me. Andrew, the owner, listened to what I wanted and visited our home a few times to get the feel of the land and the spaces. The design he did was fantastic and reasonable in cost. He then provided us with and quot;photosand quot; of what the gardens would like like, a plan with all plants and dimensions, and a walk through our garden DVD. We absolutely love the plan and are thrilled with his service. We have, with Andrew's help, hired a landscape contractor to lay down the bones of the plan; we will continue to add to our garden from the design as we go forward (it is a lot to do at one time). I cannot stress enough what a great design Andrew did for us. He has made himself available to our contractor when questions come up and I love that we can have a beautiful garden now without having to go bankrupt to finish the plan in one job (remember half an acre). Andrew's plan allows our garden to grow over time. You will be delighted with the work. We are.
