I bought and installed a new Epson WF 3640 printer and it was all downhill from there. I started having an error message that kept popping up every time I tried to print and randomly when I wasn't printing saying I was missing a file. Multiple calls to Epson proved fruitless so I hauled my computer and printer to the guy who sold me my computer, Covey Computers in Cary, NC. I spent WAY too much money for him NOT to fix my error message and when I got it home I had major issues with my printer not printing and reinstalling old versions of the printer despite my attempts to delete them and reinstall the drivers. He said the errors were viruses and I would have to live with it or get a new computer soon. Covey Computers had also installed 2 virus protection programs which were causing my computer to run slowly and I felt were causing this new printer installation craziness. I emailed him twice with no resolution so I called Tech Wizards. Calling their office and setting the appointment for the next morning was really easy and Carrie came to fix my computer. She was awesome! She fixed my original error message, uninstalled all the weird multiple versions of my printer, downloaded Windows updates and reinstalled the printer correctly. She cleaned out unnecessary junk from my computer and now everything works with no horrible "****" error message every 10 min when I'm trying to work. She was patient and thorough and talked me through what she was doing in terms I could understand. She stayed until it was fixed and triple checked to make sure it wouldn't do it again. She worked with me on the price and they don't even charge a "trip fee" from their office which is a ways from my home. I have only one business on my speed dial for computer problems now and I'm so appreciative of what they do!

They were excellent that's why I wanted them. It was good. It was a great first time experience. I would use them again, which I did.

They were pretty good. They were right on time. They are a very technically adept professional group.

Called late Fri afternoon on 11/20. Bryan answered the call and was very professional. He was able to have Joshua come on Sat morning at 9. Joshua was also very professional and respectful.
As an older female, tech reps often act arrogant and are condescending to me or they zoom through everything and you know less when they leave than before they arrived. I'm happy to say that both Joshua and Bryan really knew what they were doing and they both treated me right. These days it's so hard to experience good customer service and both of these gentlemen offered exceptional service.
Joshua was focused, friendly, and efficient. He answered all of my questions, explained what he did, and successfully fixed my computer issues. Both Bryan and Joshua displayed excellent communication skills in addition to their computer expertise.
I would highly recommend them and will call them back if any future issues come up. They are the best!!!

Tech Wizards is such an appropriate name for this operation
by Bryan Brower and his team. That was my thought when I used Tech Wizards
recently. It?s been my thought every time I?ve turned to this company for
computer solutions since I had the good luck to discover it weeks after we
moved to Raleigh some 10 years ago.
With my computer aging and with photography related software
getting better and better ? and more demanding on PC capabilities ? I decided
to it was time to upgrade to a PC that could give me the best possible image
editing and slide show video performance at the best possible cost. So I turned
to Google and soon discovered that every computer rated as one of the best
possibilities for such work was nothing of the sort. You really should design
what you want and have it built.
I turned to Tech Wizards and am thrilled with the results
and the process that led to my fantastic custom PC. All I did was hand Bryan
Brower articles I had read about what particular components should go into the making
of a PC that would be perfect for doing the work I would be doing. He reviewed
with me where he agreed, where he disagreed, what he considered overkill and
waste of money ? always carefully explaining the why behind his thinking. I
ordered the parts and Tech Wizards did its magic.
This project involved much more than designing and building
a PC perfect for my needs. I replaced every one of my old hard drives with new
larger ones and all data had to be transferred in a way that insured no
difficulties later with my organizational setup. Old hard drives had to be wiped
and transferred to any one of three household PCs and to a fourth for another
family member Tech Wizards created with parts from one or more of the others. 
Lots and lots of changes, both large ones and small one, and
everything had to come together perfectly out of a complex array of results
this non-tech envisioned and the Wizards had to achieve through not mere skill
but also sort of through mind-reading, figuring out exactly what I really
needed done even when I myself sort of knew but not exactly.  Yet it all came out perfectly.
The reason I always turn to Tech Wizards, never even
consider any other, is that over the years I have every time been very
impressed by the sheer competence and above-and-beyond customer service. I have
total confidence Tech Wizards? skill and in its honesty and integrity. Not only
are they good people, they?re very nice people to work with.
Another rare plus: there have been times when I?ve called
and the techs were all out and Trish the office manager while taking down notes
about my issue has made suggestions that solved my problem!

They tried very hard to get files back but could not.  It was a very bad virus.  They did clean up everything else and gave me some good advice.  I was satisfied with their service and will use them in the future for any pc problems.

The short version---Tech Wizards were great to work with and did an outstanding job at a great price.  I have worked with a lot of computer techs in my profession, and this was about as good as it gets.  I am already planning how to use them again to install a complex home network.
The job they did for me was to solve a very complex problem.  Although I am not a computer professional, I have over 40 years of  of computer experience and usually perform minor work myself (including installing pci cards, installing software, and resolving software problems.)  About two weeks ago, my computer refused to shut down properly, ultimately displaying the "blue screen of death" when I did not intervene.  I could force a shutdown, but was afraid that there might be more serious consequences if I continued that practice.  I tried to solve this problem, and concluded that one of the Windows drivers was the problem, but I could not resolve it.  Joe at Tech Wizards could improve the computer performance, but still could not resolve it.  We agreed that he would reformat the base drive and resinstall the Windows 7 operating system and resinstall all drivers.  The collaboration and decision-making between Tech Wizards and me was great; I actually enjoyed working with them.  
If they do for you what they did for me, you will be very satisfied.

Perfect. I really should have over these past several years written a few reviews about Bryan Brower and his TechWizards company but each time I thought of it I noticed all the rave reviews from other customers and thought what difference could my comments possibly make. 
       Bryan Brower is simply the best. His computer knowledge and competence far exceeds anything I have experienced anywhere else. I discovered him not long after we moved to Raleigh eight years ago, after having been unimpressed with others I had encountered -- and I've never since considered taking my computer issues to anyone else. Not only do I have total confidence in his abilities, I have total confidence is his honesty, integrity and fairness. I admire the attitude with which he approaches problems and always feel that he will find the quickest and best possible solution. His recommendations are always first-rate.  He has the ability to put himself in the customer's shoes and come up with what best serves you in sharp contrast with those who push their own best interest above yours. He is always pleasant to deal with, understanding, reasonable and helpful and informative. 
         Obviously while Bryan Brower is the head Wizard at Tech Wizards it's a team and clearly Bryan, like any outstanding coach or leader, is highly skilled in picking and leading a great team. There's a culture of competence, niceness and helpfulness that sets Tech Wizards apart. You just know you are in good hands and you know that any tech here, good as he or she might be, has the additional plus of being able to call on Bryan for second opinion and suggestions. The women who manage headquarters are also very knowledgeable and nice and share the company spirit of going out of the way to be helpful.
        No surprise to me that Bryan Brower and Tech Wizards have achieved the highest possible rankings from Angie's List.  It's well deserved because there's none better in the field in Raleigh or anyone else I've lived.

It went very well and they were great. They got the job done in about an hour. They stayed and made sure that everything was working okay. The young woman that came was great and she did very well. She was able to diagnose and fix the problem pretty quickly. Her attitude toward me was wonderful as she was very nice and personable. She was very nice working with non-technical a people.

Tried to work on my Quick Books Program but lacked the knowledge, and I have been unable to find my How-To Tutorial Disc since he was here??? It was located on my desk while he was here. No_x000D_|help recd as a result of his visit.

spent a few hours in our home. together we decided since the additional time was just waiting for data to download we would take computer back to office to complete the work. I picked it up next day.  The ITunes was the greatest challenge. ITunes does not make it easy to transfer tunes/pod casts from one device to another. The technician made some suggestions that worked out great.

The owner, tech, and office staff at Tech Wizard were very nice.  The tech and owner explained how the mother board could have been going bad and that could have been the reason the touch pad did not work.  I am not tech savvey and could not understand completely how this could happen.  
I did have extended warranty on the laptop and that helped pay for some of the cost of the mother board.  
Initially, I chose this company from Angie's List and it had good reviews.  I  probably would not use this company again because it is some distance from my home.
i do believe the owner and tech know their business, however, perhaps my experience was unusual.

Chuck Beck arrived, was pleasant, and quickly got to the root of the problem.  My computer is up and running and I couldn't be happier.

The service was excellent.  They were very up front and honest about how much it would cost, and that the cost would be prohibitive.  After looking at it they decided it would probably be best to just replace it, but they did not put any pressure on me and did not try to sell me on any of their products.  I actually like to have my computers built rather than buy them off the shelf, so I inquired about that with them.  They gave me several options, and they were very clear about those options based on what I would use the computer for.  The place is very close to my home so it is very easy and convenient to get to them.  They assembled the computer for me from scratch, and it took them about a week.  There was just one minor problem, but they were very quick to help get it resolved.  I would recommend them.

We decided to contact Tech Wizards.  We scheduled a technician to come out and set up the printer to print wireless from our laptop.  The technician arrived on time.  After describing what  we were trying to accomplish, the technician proceeded with his work.   He  knew exactly what to do.   After only a few minutes, we tested the wireless print function.   It worked with no issues.  We are very please with his work and our ability to print wireless.

The service was great. From the moment he arrived until he left, Chuck provided thorough and expert service.
