Stone City did an outstanding job ! The people here worked as true professionals. The price they charged was very fair. Always arrived on time. The installers were respectful of our home.....they left everything clean and tidy. Hugo who owns this Business is great to work with. I shopped around before hiring them and if I ever have more stone work I would absolutely do business with them again.

From the start we had a great experience. Our salesperson Scott, was the first contact with Stone City. He was very helpful on the phone and brought out quite a few granite samples based on our phone conversation. Scott answered all of our questions and provided an accurate measurement and estimate. We visited the store/plant a few days later to look at some slabs and Scott once again took all the time we needed to show us what was available and answer questions. We decided to go with Stone City and Hugo, the owner, came out to do the template. He was very helpful and made sure that we understood what needed to be done on our end prior to the install. We visited with Scott again at the store and selected our specific slabs. The actual install was right on time and the crew did a great job. We could not be more pleased with the end result.

We visited the showroom/warehouse and examined many slabs. They gave us all the time we needed. They used a white grease pencil to show how the slab would be cut so we could what it would look like after it was installed. They did the installation on the date we had set, and at the time we scheduled.

Our home is only 6 years old, but the green uba tuba granite the builder chose doesn't belong in a custom home and had to be replaced. I looked at multiple granite fabricatores and Stone City by far had the best price. I got a level 3 granite, which was priced at what some shops were charging for level 1 or 2. Along with that I got the best feeling when I stopped by and spoke with Cecilia as I scouted out my project. Some fabricators had hidden fees or wouldn't talk price directly. Cecilia laid it all out despite the fact that I was very early in the process and just randomly walked in one day Hugo was very helpful in answering all my questions when he came by to measure the project. Despite a full schedule of thiers, he was able to fit me in rather quickly in order to get the job done before my cabinets were being painted. The crew was very professional and it only took about 3?4 hours to remove old granite and install the new granite and granite composite sink. I used thier recommended plumber for reconnect and he was there as the job was finishing up. Some places couldn't guarantee the plumbers arrival until next day. He was also $100 cheaper than other plumber quotes from the other granite fabircators. I know sometimes the best price may mean its not the best quality or service. That is not the case here. Save money and hire Stone City. Great quality, great service and best price I could find.

From the first visit with the estimate, through the selection, template creation and installation as well as the coordination for dates and time with the tile man I have never been so impressed with such professionalism and speed!   We decided on the date for the template and Hugo did it  on time and accurately. We determined a date for installation and they were here on time and did a clean and professional job installing the countertop as well as the new sink.  They had suggested a plumber who they coordinated to come in after they were finished installing and he also was there on time and completed the job in  less than an hour. 
Everything was professional and clean. What  a great team from the sales rep to completion. I wish I needed more granite.

Their prices are excellent when you consider that they include a sink and several other items that the big box stores charge extra for.  It's also great to pick out your slab personally.  They were great to work with and it went really well from picking the options to installation.

We received personal attention at the showroom even though it was close to the end of the day and were able to look at all the different types of granite in both sample size as well as the slabs they would be cut from. They did an excellent job helping us match the granite to the vanity bottom, paint and tile we had already chosen.
Both granite pieces were cut from the same slab for consistency. They set an installation date and arrived promptly for the install.

It was excellent. I liked the granite, timing of the service, the price, and recommendations. They were easy to work with and there were multiple slabs to select from. They were not the lowest cost, but they certainly were one of the lower costs.

It was great and I'd highly recommend them. Scott was a tremendous help by providing straightforward opinions. We let him know what we were looking for and did everything he could to help us. They guys that came out were prompt and courteous. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up. We couldn't be happier. Everyone that we had contact with from Stone City was courteous and professional. Their price also couldn't be beat.

They did whatever I wanted them to do and it turned out beautifully. They did the job in about a day. They did a good job. The price was a good deal for the piece that we got. We bought the slab and they installed it for us and used every inch of it. They cut it where every piece would work and they don't have any leftover.

Cecelia came to my house to give me an estimate. She was very friendly. We had a lot of questions, and she patiently answered all of them. She explained the whole process and put us at ease. Our island already had granite, and we wanted the rest of the kitchen to match it. Her brother, Hugo, then came to our house a few days later to get measurements and draw the template. While he was taking measurements, I asked his opinion on some changes I wanted to make. I wanted to replace the wood window sill with granite. He explained how he would do it. We also talked about taking out several rows of the tile backsplash and replace with granite. Hugo and several helpers showed up on time on the day of the install. All pieces fit like a glove! The new granite matched the existing granite. Hugo did an outstanding job of matching the new and old granite. My kitchen looks spectacular!!! I would highly recommend Stone City!!

Stone City was prompt to respond to an estimate inquiry. I was pleased with how well they worked with me on my budget. The installers were also great. They arrived on time, were careful not to damage any walls, cabinets, etc. They removed and disposed of our old countertops. They even swept the kitchen floor when they were done! I had gotten an estimate from another Raleigh countertop business before deciding on Stone City. They wanted $500 more for the exact same granite plus we would have to remove and dispose of our old counters or it would be even higher!

it was a terrible experience, and we hope that nobody else has to go through this type of ordeal with them. They received a 50% deposit from us, and now, we are not only going to lose that $, we are forced to spend alot more just to get the work replaced, as right now its embaressing to have people over...

Granite slabs were on site at sales office. Sales people very helpful. Installers arrived on time and did an excellent job.

They were awesome and seemed like either a new company or someone who had just taken over an old company. They had stuff together but you could tell they were kind of new because their systems weren't in place. However, they were good and their price was awesome. I will use them again in the future.
