STOCK BUILDING SUPPLY

Judy Anderson tied me up for a month with out giving me a price. I had explained the cabinet we wanted. Said she would give us a price of $8,000. We went in to confirm the price with Judy and said within a week she would get back with us. It was 2 weeks later, after the budget price of 8k. I called her several times after initial visit. The price she came back with after the estimation information was 15k. She was totally vague about our job and seemed as though she didn't want to do business with us. She was an "F" and we are now going elsewhere. Worse experience I have had within the 6 months of building this house and dealing with various other vendors.

I BOUGHT FROM SEIGLE'S BECAUSE THEY HAD THE MOST HELPFUL SALESPEOPLE. I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT I GOT GOOD WINDOWS AND DOORS, AND THEY WERE THE ONLY PLACE WHERE THEY COULD REASONABLY ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW THE DIFFERENT WINDOW MANUFACTURERS AND EACH OF THEIR PRODUCT LINES COMPARE. THE SALESPERSON I WORKED WITH COULD NOT HAVE BEEN NICER OR MORE HELPFUL. SINCE I'M DOING THIS MYSELF, I HAD LOTS OF QUESTIONS. I'M SURE I TOOK MORE OF HIS TIME THAN A LOT OF OTHERS WITH SIMILAR ORDERS, BUT HE WAS NEVER ANYTHING BUT HELPFUL. I HAD THE DOOR AND THE LARGEST WINDOW INSTALLED BY SEIGLE'S AND I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB THEY DID. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. EVERYTHING IS STRAIGHT AND LEVEL AND VERY WEATHERTIGHT. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS A TYPICAL ONE - NOBODY BOTHERED TO MENTION TO ME THAT THE DRIVER WHO DELIVERED THE WINDOWS WAS ALONE, AND I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE PEOPLE TO HELP ME UNLOAD. LUCKILY, HE WAS VERY STRONG AND PRETTY MUCH UNLOADED EVERYTHING HIMSELF.
