I was super panicked because it sounded like there was a massive animal in my chimney. Southern Wildlife came out the same day. Super nice dude got the squirrel out alive without incident and fixed my chimney cap so no more visitors. Reasonable price. I recommend!!

We could not have asked for a more prompt and professional company. Joshua and company came the day after I called, examined the house very thoroughly and quickly determined the squirrel entry point. They put in traps for our intruding squirrel, and checked on them daily. Within two days we had trapped the squirrel, which was relocated. Joshua then quickly patched the hole in the exterior of the house. I would hire Southern Wildlife again with no reservations.

Josh was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the process to safely remove the bats. He even seaed the siding where they were getting in from. He was very helpful and in fact didn’t collect the money until he came back a few days later to make sure the bats were gone. His price was fair and reasonable and I would certainly hire him again. I strongly recommend if you’re in need of any wildlife removal, you need to hire Josh from Southern Wildlife.

Bats were found in the vents of our attic and needed to be removed, along with the guano. After an expensive quote from the exterminator, Alex dropped by to access the situation. He arrived on time, explained the issue, how it was to be resolved and gave us an instant quote far below our exterminator. They arrived on the day of the removal on time, did a very neat job applying screening to 3 attic vents and removed all guano. Quick and hassle free.

The technician (Josh) was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Pricing was very reasonable, and included patching of 4 possible entry points. Would definitely recommend this company.

Alex did a great job to screen all of the entry points while providing the bats a one-way tube out of the house. He also cleaned up all of the bat droppings inside the attic. Great job!

Austin was great! We were alarmed to find out that we had bats in our gable vents, but Austin did a great job putting our minds at ease, coaching us through the process and ultimately getting rid of them. They were very professional and responded very quickly.

Great service at a fair price

Traps were baited & set. the squirrels apparently left before the traps were set. Southern Wildlife came back every day for 4 days to verify that the squirrels were gone. The traps were removed & the access hole in the eaves was closed up. $85 service call, $89 trap set fee, $55 to repair hole. 10% Angie's List discount on service call.

I cannot say enough good things about this team and Alex's leadership. They were attentive, very nice, careful of the property, respectful, answered questions as needed and enjoyed engaging in wildlife discussions. The whole issues for both squirrels and bats were resolved within a week's time. I actually missed their daily visits to check on things after the job was completed which is a big compliment to them. And pricing was very fair and Alex went out of his way to make sure he gave me all appropriate discounts that he had going at the time.

He quickly pulled out the large yellow bellied water snake and will relocate him to a new and safe home. Alex then walked the fence line in the backyard, the house perimeter, and checked the crawl space. He actually found a 2nd, smaller, black rat snake and was able to remove/relocate him as well. He used foam spray in a few gaps by the HVAC unit and crawlspace to help prevent snakes and other animals from making a future home. We discussed the crawl space condition and will be getting a quote for crawlspace cleaning/restoration as well!

Alex was fantastic! He came out immediately and quickly removed the snake (he said was a large non-poisonous yellow-bellied water snake). He walked the perimeter of our property and went into the crawl space under the house - actually finding a 2nd smaller black rat snake. Alex pointed out different snake friendly areas around our home and how to help prevent a snake from making a future home. He even filled some gaps in our crawl space by the HVAC unit to keep snakes and critters out from under the house. He safely removed both snakes and relocated them to a safer more snake friendly place to live. We are getting a quote for crawlspace restoration and will keep his company on speed dial in case we get any more critters!

Alex and Josh came out within a couple days of my call. They were personable, professional, and efficient. They removed the bird detritus from the attic and placed screening over the vents to reentry.

These guys were professional, courteous, and wonderful to have on the job!  A mother squirrel and 3 juveniles were removed over a 3-day period, then screens were installed over holes the squirrels had eaten in fascia boards.  I plan to repair the boards as part of another project.  They also set up one-way exits for bats that I feared were living in my attic.  Screens were installed over 3 attic vents after the bats were gone.  I was lucky, in that the bats were living around the horizontal decorative wood of one vent, but had not torn through the inside screen.  I also had an existing bat house relocated, that had been on a high post that blew down during high winds in February.  They mounted it nice and high on a tree.

The squirrel removal charges included a "per squirrel" charge.  With 4 squirrels, this cost was about the same as a fixed cost quote I had received from another company.      

Josh was highly professional and responsive to our request for service.  He visibly inspected every inch and corner of the crawlspace and discovered a small hole in one of the vent screens.  He then inspected the area under our deck near the entry point, and finally located the snake lying between the upper deck floor joists. He was able to capture the reptile and return him safely to his new environment, about 10 miles from here.  I had a great experience with this company, and would definitely use them again.  

I can't praise these guys enough!  Found extensive bird poop all over my air conditioner and determined something must be hiding out in the upstairs bathroom vent.  Called Southern Wildlife and spoke with owner Alex Freeman.  He knew right away that the problem was probably European Starlings who are crevice nesters, gave me a rundown of costs and said he could have somebody out to my house the next day.  I had called 3 other services and left messages but no one even bothered to call back and am I glad that they didn't.
Josh arrived promptly the next day, crawled up into the attic to confirm that there was a nest in the duct, walked around the house to check all the other vents and told me what I should cover and what didn't need to be done and why.  I was ready to cover them all.
He got to work and had to go up to the attic several times and never complained - you have to be a gymnast to get up there since the builder said he couldn't put stairs due to some code, but he just went about his work and finished the whole job in an hour.  He removed the nest, cleaned the gunk out of the vent and then put vent covers on four vents.  Problem solved!
I highly recommend this company if you have any problems with wildlife moving into your house!
