Took them months after payment in full to replace a segment of my damaged fence. The replacement doesn't match the size and construction of the remainder of my fence. Plus very slow or no response to multiple emails during the process.

The experience was not too good; they really overpromised and under delivered in my opinion. The problem was in the installation because their technician had trouble with the slope of my yard. They left a two foot gap underneath a substantial area of the fence which my dog could get under and they said they could not fix it. I ended fixing myself what they said they could not fix. They had zero follow up afterwards. Another issue was that they hit an irrigation head in my yard which I had pointed out to them, but they said they had a disclaimer which said they were not responsible for irrigation head damage -- even when I earlier pointed it out to them. This happed in two different places. Another instance revolved around every time they dug a post hole they just left a mound of dirt at each post. I had 50 posts dug so that was a lot of dirt that I had to wheelbarrow out of my yard. They were very responsive in following up on their quote and working to meet my schedule in order to get the sale but immediately following the installation I tried to get hold of them and it seems they lost my phone number and would not answer my emails. They fell off the face of the earth so that I could not communicate with them following the installation. I will not use them again in the future.

"The customer let my first apologize for the delay in response as I this is my first time on Angies list. I pulled your paperwork and it appears we only installed a small portion of fence for you and not sure why you had 50 holes as we only dug 23 holes. We try to spread the dirt out as no to leave it at the post unless the yard in manicured and then we generally ask how you prefer it. I could not find any record of a phone call as I would have defiantely got involved to get your issues addressed and taken care of. Josh is no longer with us so unfortunately i have only my paperwork to go from. Unfortunately with the equipment we use sometimes sprinklers are damaged as we explain in our customer information sheet. we attempt not to damage but if a post must go there it sometimes happens. The gap you describe has me puzzled as the aluminum fence we ue follows the contour and not sure if there was a ditch of some type in your back yard that caused this. I can only ask that if you by chance would give us another shot at new work for you that I will personally take care of any concerns you may have."

They were very efficient in doing the job for us, and they cleaned up after themselves. The gate works fine. Everything went great, and I have no complaints about them. The only thing was that they weren?t negotiable on the price.

Project FINALLY completed over two and a half months after initial contact. Wrong measurements taken X 3. Main gate support posts installed incorrectly and had to be removed and replaced X 2. Main gates wrong coating. Company hung main gates without consent. Texture of main gates doesn't match the rest of the fencing. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH SEEGAR'S FENCE COMPANY! Ball caps on fence posts not cemented on or permanently fixed. Able to simply lift off ball caps. Some areas of the fence are still adjustable (cement founations not set). Chips / scratches in aluminum in several places. Copious notes / pictures taken of every telephone call, every communication with anyone from this company to substantiate our situation as consumers and Seegar's disregard for this project. Preparing for more arguments / litigation about final invoice and balance due. What should have been a great project, turned into a total nightmare!

Repair work on the driveway gates completed by Dickerson Fence Co. last month. Main posts, hinges, supports, etc, installed by Seegars insufficient to support gates and another $1.500.00 spent to have the project repaird. Seegars knowingly lies, misrepresents and defends their substandard job and has never done the right thing to correct our issues. Rather, the edify themselves by professing to be right, when in actuality, they're crap. DON'T HIRE THESE SCHMUCKS FOR ANYTHING! THEY OVERTYLY LIE and treat situations THEY created with careless abandonment! You should be "blown away" by my comments! They're real, truthful and very descript! DONE.

"I am blown away with this comment. I made several trips to this house to adjust and fix issues although it was well out of warranty. The gate was sent in wrong however we gave the client a $250.00 credit and was completely their decision to keep the gate. The ball caps in deed were not cemented and were installed per manufacturers instructions. Had we cemented the caps it would have voided his warranty with said manufacturer. There were a few issues with the two gate post and they were repaired. At no time did I or would I treat someone as a second class person. I always do everything i can to assure the client receives the best service available."

Overall we were completely unhappy with our experience with Seegar's Fence company. Seegar's has very poor communications for one. They tell you they will call and they don't, they tell you they will come out, and they don't, and when they do finally show up they're late. We scheduled our installation based on one price and when the job was finished it was another. In addition, we were scheduled for our fence to be installed and they kept rescheduling us to fit their schedule versus ours. They never stuck to their word. We have since had problems with the fencing coming apart where it was not put up correctly and our dog can get out under some parts of the fence that are too high off the ground. I highly recommend you seek the services of another company if you want to come out of the process with your time, money, sanity, property, and fencing intact!

We do make every effort possible to communicate with our customers and inform them of changes to the installation schedule. Unfortunately, mother nature can affect our schedule beyond our control. As far as a pricing change after you receive a written quote from us we DO NOT change the price unless there are changes made on the project by the homeowner. That has been our policy since 1949 when we started and it remains today."

WE HAD A FINE EXPERIENCE WITH COMPANY AND ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE FENCING JOB THEY DID. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL WITH THE WORK, AND THEY HAD A GOOD, KNOWLEDGEABLE CREW.

THEY HAD A GOOD DESIGN FOR THE FENCE. THEY DID WHAT WE ASKED THEM TO DO IN CHANGING THE DESIGN FROM JUST A SQUARE FENCE. WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE ASK ABOUT WHO BUILT IT.
