We are in the process of remodeling a house. Rick has been invaluable; fast, efficient, great work and excellent prices. Since are remodel started, Rick has been here several times. He went through the house and replaced all electrical sockets and switches. He wired a newly remodeled kitchen, a new addition for a dining and bath and a 20 x 24 garage. He also wired our outside lighting and ceiling fans. Rick went out of his way to make sure all work was completed for scheduled inspections. We highly recommend Rick and we are lucky to have found him.

Rick is an excellent problem solver and alerted us to issues outside of his initial task. We appreciate his expertise and professionalism!

Rick kept me very informed on what he was going to do, and why. The job was done neatly too. I'm going to hire him again for another job. He cares about the quality of his work. I'm pleased.

Rick was great. I have been looking for some time for a responsive, reasonably-priced electrician. Rick was easy to work with, got the job done on-estimate, and will definitely be my first choice for future electrical work.

He replaced a smoke alarm that I had ripped off the ceiling as it would not stop beeping, he took out a timer switch and a dimmer switch that were not working properly. He replaced a broken light fixture in my pantry, and the light kit on my ceiling fan. My motion detector out front had to be adjusted and secured. He also fixed a non-working receptacle on my deck, and took the time to fix the door on an outdoor electric meter box. I expected to pay much more than he charged, even if I did hold the flashlight for him in the pantry. Smile. If you choose anyone else but Rick to do your electric work you are wasting your time and money. He is the best electrician to ever come to my house, and after being lied to and cheated by other companies I would never use anyone else. Rick works alone and gets the job done.

It went very well, weather aside. Rick went above and beyond in adapting to workflow problems that others introduced into the process. He shows up on time, works like a demon as long as it takes, and is more than fair in his pricing. What's not to like!

When we had the recent winter storm power outage, I took down my 2 smoke detectors to stop them from buzzing. When I looked at them later, I realized they needed to be replaced. I called Rick to ask first about replacements - are they standard size?, etc. - and how much he would charge to install them. He was helpful in answering my questions, said it was an easy task, and said he could do it for $75. I thought it would be easy, but didn't want to take any chances with something designed to protect my family. He said he was very busy, but could come later in the week on Thursday or Friday. I said ok. Rick was good about updating when he could come. As understood, he came on Friday. As expected, the job took about 10 minutes and was completed without any complications. During that time, he was professional and friendly, easy to talk to, and explained various things about electricity and wiring. In summary, a simple task for an electrician, done well.

He was fast. He did what he said. He was punctual. He cut the price down from the original estimate when he found out he didn't need to do quite as much as he thought.

cirRick was one of the few folks who responded to emails on Angie's List. He scheduled the installation for a quick install an showed up promptly. He was friendly and personable and finished in a timely manner, and tested both outlets. After he left, we found one outlet didn't seem to work. He called back the same night, offered suggestions (which worked for a temporary fix) and offered to return the next day. That day didn't work for us, so he returned very soon after. Turns out the circuit under the house was wired in an unexpected way. I said B in quality only because one last check before leaving would have saved a return trip. He didn't charge for the extra trip and work, and we were quite satisfied and will probably ask him to do some other similar projects we have in mind.

Rick was prompt, called ahead to give me an ETA, did a great job, wasted no time, and was extremely reasonable. I had received estimates from other contractors as high as $189. Will definitely use his services again.

Rick was meticulous with his work. I appreciate the great job he did. I would highly recommend him for any electrical work.

Rick Kittle Electric is a one man show. Rick, the owner, is a perfect example of what we all want when we hire a professional! He was responsive and showed up when he said he would--and, I did not have to wait long for an appointment. He is very meticulous with his work and also took care not to make a mess in my house. The amount he charged me for his service was more than fair. Rick did some other work for me several years ago, and I would highly recommend him for any electrical job.

Went great. He was very thorough and gave me all the information I wanted about why there was an issue and what he had to do to fix it. Took him some time to find the problem, but once he found it, he fixed things up right away. I am very pleased.

Rick worked very diligently to replace several lights in my home with new fixtures. He replied very promptly via emails to my questions. As a single woman, I felt comfortable with him in my home for the day-long job.

This was a very complicated job in a new house-many things that the builder had not done. Rick had to wire through the attic to the outlets. This involved much sheet rock work and was a much more difficult job than anticipated. He was very professional and stayed late on two nights to finish the job-then came back to do some extra things that my husband thought of later. He always called to let us know when he would be there. I was in and out during the two days, and gave him a key-he is totally trustworthy and great with our dogs. I would highly recommend Rick for any job-great price for all that he ended up having to do! He is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work!

Provider arrived exactly when he said he would, explained what he needed to do and then completed the work in a very timely manner. He was pleasant, professional and seemed quite knowledgeable. I have recommended him to others, with high praise for his work. He was a pleasure to work with.

Installed above the range microwave, moved outlet, and installed new connection for dishwasher.

Rick has done work before for us and he is a fantastic electrician. He doesn't send sub contractors out, he shows up and knocks out the work. There is nothing this guy cannot do! He is nuts about perfection but it doesn't slow him down. He also charges a very fair rate. I will always use Rick.

I got two other quotes and Rick was the most reasonable one. But that was not the only reason I hired him. He was the only electrician that was willing to install the new LED tape lights. The other two electricians didn't want to be bothered, because they didn't understand the new technology. The company I ordered the LED tape lighting , did not send the proper transmitter, Rick had to come back to finish the job. He did not charge me an additional fee. Rick always called to let me know he was on his way. I highly recommend him. He even helped me to unpack a large TV and attach the TV base without charging me.

Very well. I called on Thursday evening. He returned call Friday morning, setting up appointment for later that day. We discussed the problem and suggested I purchase the replacement fixture. Rick showed up on time and completed all work within an hour.

Rick added a number of new outlets and new circuits in our basement. He also added an outlet in a difficult to reach location in a closet. He came a couple of weeks before the job to give us an estimate. Rick arrived promptly at the appointed time and stayed until the job was complete. He is very professional and cleaned up before he left. He is a perfectionist.

Rick came first to estimate the job and we set up a date for the work to be done. He emailed me a written estimate and arrived on time on the appointed day and did a great job. He was very professional and highly skilled and the experience was a very good one. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.
