Renewal by Andersen Windows of Raleigh

My wife and I are mostly pleased with Renewal by Anderson. The sales team, installation process and follow-up was very impressive. This company has a good group of people directly working for them. We had roughly twelve new windows installed. They look amazing. Once it came to dealing with their subcontractor, Retracting Solutions, [*** Link removed ***] for the purpose of installing phantom screens, we have been highly disappointed. The screens have been horrible. Bugs of all type are breaching the screens. It has been so frustrating to have saved and waited so long only to have these screens be so ineffective. The insulting part of this experience has been trying to communicate with President, [email protected] and her representative, Abbey. They have been condescending and aggressive with questioning what we have illustrated multiple times with these screens being useless against keeping bugs out. While on the phone with [email protected] I was asked, "sir, do you want your money back?" I said yes! I did not initially ask for my money back; however, since [email protected] asked, I 100% agreed. Close to two months later, our emails, texts and calls are being completely ignored. It's not right. We requested help from Retracting Solutions. A person was sent to our home and ended up arriving outside of the agreed time. This person never called or knocked to let us know that they had even arrived. We had zero opportunity to discuss this dilemma face to face. A complete waste of time. This whole process cost us a small fortune. Again, we were very happy when Renewal by Anderson was directly involved. Our experience with Retracting Solutions has truly soured our overall experience. It is a real shame that such a respected company like Renewal by Anderson led us to such an unpleasant experience, especially, after the success and trust earned from the window installation.

Part of the contract was if I upgraded the windows, they would include a front door installation for free. The installation of the windows went fine and they installed the 7 windows in 3 hours. They cleaned up everything. They said the door wasn't ready when the windows were. I agreed to let them go ahead and put in the windows and they could put in the door later when it came in. It has been three months now and I have not heard from them yet. I want to have my door put in.

Wonderful! This is the second time I have used them and this company and group of people are excellent at what they do. I enjoyed every moment of the process from the first visit to install. All my exterior doors are now by RBA and I am so trilled with the results. I highly recommend them!
