Today I called Gary at Raleigh Plumbing about some rough-in plumbing work I had done back on November 13th. Our tile was recently finished and we had some local plumbers come and finish the installation of the fixtures. The local plumbers found an issue with the rough-in plumbing and had to fix some of Raleigh Plumbing's work before they could install our fixtures. I called today to kindly asked Gary if he could provide me a breakdown of my bill and I explained the issues the local plumber had found. He immediately became combative and verbal abusive towards me. I have never been treated in such a manner by a contractor or anyone in a position where they are supposed to provide customer service. I am not in dispute of the bill, as they obviously did work and provided parts, but rather I am in dispute of my treatment by Gary at Raleigh Plumbing. As the COO of a international corporation I would immediately fire any of my employees if they were to treat a customer is such a manner as Gary did. I want others to know that what Gary at Raleigh Plumbing did is unacceptable and that doing business with Raleigh Plumbing means they too could be subject to such treatment.

The schedule of tasks and estimated completion date was generally adhered to and changes due to technical and supplier delivery problems were satisfactorily explained. Five week estimated time of completion stretched to six and one-half, not bad inmy experience with renovation.

They did not put in the shower lever properly. The hardware to three faucets went bad within 3 years. They also came out to fix our recirculater to the water heater. When they did this it was installed improperly and it ended up flooding the attic. We had too many problems with this company and would not use them again.

When I called to make the appointment, the gentlemen who took my call was professional and very nice. The repairman arrived on time, even a few minutes before. He took his shoes off outside. To fix one of the toilets, he said he needed to replace the toilet handle. He was hoping he had a generic toilet handle in his truck, but did not, and I paid $20.00 for the only handle he had with him. He said that the generic handle would have been cheaper. I would have thought that generic toilet handles would be a required item to have in truck. The bottom line is that everything works great, and I have no regrets. It is great not to have to hold down the handle each time--ah, the little things in life. He gave me a $30.00 coupon to use for my next service. I don't know if this was a good price compared to other company's, but plumbers are expensive; and I don't feel like I was ripped off. Since I have the coupon, I will use them again. When I made the appointment, I only indicated that one toilet needed repair. I think the estimate would have been "right on" if I didn't have the other toilet fixed and if I didn't have to pay for the new handle. The total cost was for 45 minutes of work , replacing one flapper, purchasing and installing one, new toilet handle, repairing fill valve and adjusting chain.

This company does above average work. We have had no problems with our plumbing since we moved into our new home. Their work is done very neatly and accurately. For this reason, I would consider giving them my business in the future. I can not comment on what their prices may be as that was handled through my home builder.

The builder and all the subs, especially the plumbers did an awesome job. They by no means used inferior workers or materials on my house. Another sub accidentally hit a pipe in the wall with a nail and caused a big leak. Raleigh came over as soon as we called them and took care of it even though it was not their fault. Our general contractor had actually paid them.

They did a great job. Many of my neighbors used their service, too. I was happy with the speed of the service. The workers were easy to deal with. The price was competitive. I would recommend them to others.

The work was all done on a professional level. They were very friendly and always on time. Whenever there were questions that we had, they made sure to answer them for us. The price seemed reasonable and we were pleased with the service.

Realistically, I feel they did exactly what they were hired to do. There was no leaking water or any disturbance to the rest of my home. They told me to give them a call if I ever have any troubles with the drain. The washer is able to drain without overflowing or leaking so I have no problem.

Raleigh is a good company that stands behind their work. Our builder used them when the house was built. They were very happy to come here to take care of our faucet under warranty. They are a professional company with nice workers. They are very responsive to the customer s needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

Raleigh handled every aspect of our plumbing in our home. They ran all of our pipes and worked in all of our bathrooms. They also installed our new heating system. We have been extremely happy with the work that Raleigh did within our new home and would give them a very positive recommendation. We have had no problems with anything they did, so we feel like satisfied customers. The only difficulty I would have is pricing the work that they did. Because it was all included within the price of what we paid for our home, I could not really tell you what we paid them, but I do know that it was a fair and reasonable price, or we would not have used them in the first place.

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS COMPANY. THEY DIDN'T TRY TO GET ME TO BUY ANYTHING THAT I DIDN'T NEED. THE PRICING WAS VERY REASONABLE. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE.
