Quantum Security installed my existing burglar alarm system prior to me purchasing the home approximately 10 years ago. The system has worked flawlessly for the most part over the years. I've had false alarms occasionally but it was usually attributed to wind blowing against the original French doors that were installed prior to my upgrading them to sliding glass doors.
I called Quantum Security out to basically check my system. I like to do this once a year or so. At the same time, I asked for a quote to modernize the system. It previously required a land line and I always had concerns that if the telephone line became inoperative, then I also had no alarm system. You can't be too careful nowadays. After the upgrade, I have a wireless system. The same technician who quoted the upgrade also performed the work.
I now receive email messages or text messages to inform me of system activity, such as arming or disarming of the system, a door has been left ajar or if there is an actual alarm. With the upgrade, I am able to log onto Alarm.com and establish certain notification parameters as to when I'll be notified and how. I can log on at any time to check the system status or to remotely turn the system on or off.
I continued using Quantum Security after I moved into the home, since they were the original alarm installers. I have always been very satisfied with the service they provide. They are always responsive to requests and their monitoring service personnel are quick to respond to any alarms. The phone rings very quickly following an activation, usually in less than a minute.
