PRO TIRE

bought a groupon. Had to get an appointment to get  oil changed. Saturday appt was available.  Guys did a decent job and also gave me a quote for getting new tires which was comparable to my neighborhood shops. Shop interior could have been slightly better but its ok.

I originally went to Pro Tire because of a groupon for oil changes. I went there to get my oil changed and since my inspection is close to being due, I asked them if they would inspect my car. I noticed the guy at the front was treating women different from the men that went in. I thought his behavior was quite odd. I made a request that they didn't adjust my seat in my car and he found it very funny. So shortly after, he comes out and tells me that my car failed inspection. He says the wipers and the aim of my headlights failed. I had just put on wipers on my car and looked at the wipers before he pulled my car in to be inspected. I always check this because I'm aware that this is a common scam. I explained to the guy that I had just put wipers on my car and they were fine when my car was pulled in to be inspected. I also explained that I had a headlight out about a month ago and when the light was put in, I had the headlights adjusted. While I understand its possible for the headlights to be out of adjustment after a month, it was hard to believe with hearing about my *new* wipers being torn (that I had just looked at). They tore my wipers. He was very quick to let me know that he had wipers that fit in stock for a fee and that he would place them on my car for a fee. I told him that he was trying to scam me and that I wasn't happy. His hands were shaking as he still had the nerve to charge me for the inspection. Of course I had to pay to get my car back. And now I will be forced to pay this fee again somewhere else to have my car inspected.
