Pete was on time, very professional and knowledgeable. he did a great job and was careful not to make a mess in my house,
leaving his shoes on the porch and covering the carpet in my finished attic where he was working on the furnace. I finally found my go to guy for HVAC service.

They were prompt, professional and courteous.  Moreover they did not try to sell me something I didn't need.

Called pete to check on a HVAC in a rental unit of mine that was acting strangely.  I had gotten his card from a friend who also has rental units.  I had called several local companies here in Wake Forest, but had gotten no return calls, so I figured I'd give Pete a try.  He came out quickly and diagnosed the problem to be an faulty electronic thermostat that was turning on the cooling section and the heat strips at the same time.  He replaced the thermostat and was on his way.  As a side note, Pete's actually a very nice guy and I got the impression that he was a hard worker and honest as well.   I haven't needed his services since, but with the summer rolling in, I'm sure I'll be giving him a call one of these days.   HIGHLY RECOMMEND  Good pricing, knowledgeable, timely, and honest!!

I thought this was a very positive experience. I was fortunate to catch a spring special offer by Portcullis Tradesman on an AC tune-up. Pete was able to schedule a visit that met my needs. I watched him as he was checking my system, and Pete was happy to explain each step he was performing, from cleaning the unit and the importance of keeping it clean, to checking the coolant pressure and making sure the unit was cooling the air properly. In my opinion, the way he performed the service indicated he had quite a bit of experience with AC units. As we talked, I found he was very knowledgeable about upcoming changes being mandated for AC systems with respect to coolant gasses, but he also was able to assure me that my current system, even though it is over 15 years old, was operating well and didn't have any immediate concerns.
