POOL SPECIALISTS

Consumers Beware!!! Our experience was awful. He sent unqualified technicians who caused more problems with the pool than solutions. The biggest one being that one of them bumped the heater on right before an ice storm in winter by mistake/inexperience and it sucked $2000 worth of propane out of our tank and we had no heat. Craig refused to accept any responsibility and said our neighbors must have sneaked in our back yard and used our pool! Our neighbors all have their own pools and who wants to swim in an ice storm in the dead of winter? We filed a BBB complaint against the company and someone at Pool Specialists forged a letter and sent it in stating that we were just disgruntled because he had fired us as customers because we didn't pay our bills. As a result, the complaint got dismissed. We owed him nothing and even had proof that he serviced our pool after the date of the letter but BBB had already dismissed the case so we were too late. Beware! This is not a company you want to do business with!

They were good. They were interactive. They called me back knew what they were talking about. They closed the pool while I was at work and I check it later. There were no problems, it went fine. I will use them again in the future.

In the beginning, we had very high hopes for Pool Specialists. Owner, Craig Wooster, is obviously very knowledgeable about pool service and maintenance, but overall we were not impressed with the level of customer service we were given. Oftentimes his company did not follow through on complaints and concerns of pool and/or board members. Lifeguards were not adequately trained and managed. Computerized membership and pool entry system was promised, but not delivered (computer broke down early in the season and was never replaced). Craig can be overbearing and impersonable. He rubbed many members the wrong way. I think Craig is in over his head. Again, he knows pools, no doubt about it, but he doesn't know people and his business comes up lacking when it comes to delivering and maintaining good customer service.
