Description of Work: Would not return calls for design / estimate. However, this isn't isolated to this company. We can't get anyone to provide a quote. We a large yard and are willing to pay for a design / install, but we can't get a good response. Found this company recommended by others. Perhaps they are very good and very busy, by a call back would be nice

+ -1 moreGood team to hire. Always show up on designated day unless raining (then next day or when lawn dry enough to mow). Take pride in their work. Always leave note saying exactly what they did each visit. Owner knowledgeable and friendly.
Description of Work: Yearly maintenance plan including weekly lawn mowing, blowing, edging, maintaining plants etc. as well as seeding, pre-emergent weed treatment, fertilizing etc. Irrigation maintenance. Service cost is monthly.

Andrew is an NC State trained landscape designer and he knew the challenges we faced with our home and landscape. He removed plants that were not working and recommended plants that would be better or would meet our needs. He sent us detailed information on the plants he recommended so we could look them up on line. He matched the rock and gravel we needed with the rock and gravel that had been previously installed and substantially improved the false creeks to better carry away the water that has been a real problem. His people properly moved and trimmed the plants so the overall design is now so much better. And since the recent snow storms created a real mess, he had his people clean up the yard of branches and trees that that had fallen to make the installation work better. The new plants and mulch look beautiful and we are proud of how our home looks now. My wife and I could not be more pleased and I recommend his firm highly.
Description of Work: I received a recommendation for Andrew Plunkett and Oak City Landscaping from a contractor I trusted. I hired him and his firm to rebuild a false creek that carried a lot of water across my lot, conduct a review of my current plantings and make recommendations for changes, install new plantings in the front and back yard, refresh the decorative gravel on my walkways, properly trim my plants, and clean up and install fresh mulch in all my beds in the front, side and back yards.
