Hired this company to do a winter service on my heat pump.  First guy showed up and waited for hvac to show up.  Never had an issue with heat pump prior to this, only needed a winter service.  Once hvac tech showed up, the heat pump was frozen for some reason.  Suggested there was a leak and charged the unit.  A couple of months later, the unit started to freeze up again.  Hired a different company to come do a check.  They did the dye test to check for leaks and charged the unit again.  Waited the month to call the 2nd company back to check for leaks.  None were found and levels were perfect.  The unit is only a couple of years old and only explanation would be this company.  I will never hire this business again.  Next time I will wait for Bunns Heating and Air to be available.

He never could find a leak. I, mistakenly paid him $1000 up front. Meanwhile, I called some other plumbers. They informed that you never pay for work that has not been completed. They said this was the first indicator of wrong doing. I had a contractor come and evaluate my situation and as it turned out I did not even have a leak. I live on a golf course and the due to a lot of rain the water from the golf course was draining into my yard and under my house. I confronted Richard with this knowledge and asked for my deposit back as I would no longer need to have my pipe replaced. He refused to refund my money . He had learned that I was recently separated from my husband and it is my belief that he took complete advantage of that situation. He prides himself on the fact that his father was a plumber and that he has been in the business for 30 plus years. In my opinion, he is a crook.
