I live in a house that was built in the 1980s, and the entire house has been renovated and looks great, but the pantry was still very small, with popcorn ceilings, no light, and just completely out of sync with the rest of my beautiful house. Rob came in and assessed the pantry, and decided we could knock out the built-in cabinets in the living room behind the existing pantry to enlarge it. A load-bearing wall would be involved in this remodel, so turns out it wasn't simple at all, but Rob handled everything with no problem! Rob was able to add a pier in the basement to distribute the structural weight properly. He built the most awesome pantry for me, matching the hardwood floors in the pantry to our existing floor and the match is flawless! He built thick wooden shelves with decorative wooden supports. He put flat ceilings in. He gave me the option to stain the shelves or paint them; I opted to paint everything white and it is absolutely a work of art! He gave me a power outlet in the pantry and installed a light. When he removed the built-ins to make room for the pantry, he replaced them with a wall and trim that completely matched the rest of the room, and placed an outlet there, as well as a blower switch for my gas logs. I was a little nervous about how much mess would be made from knocking down drywall, but Rob and his team kept everything neat as a pin. They put plastic down on the floors wherever they had to walk through the house to get to the pantry, which I really appreciated. I never noticed any sheetrock dust anywhere; they kept it confined and thoroughly cleaned it. I am going to have my screen porch remodeled in the near future and Rob will definitely be the guy to do it. I found his attention to detail to be really refreshing.
