NATURAL ACCENT

We started out impressed with James' knowledge and recommendations.  Scheduling was always rough to work out but we figured he was in demand and knew what he was doing.   After working with him on yard project we now see that there are some really bad choices in the types of plants, like butterfly bushes in our front yard that look terrible in the winter time.  We've shown photos of our landscape to multiple local landscapers and nurseries and everyone has responded with, I can't believe someone choose those for your front plants.  However that's not the worst part, for 2 years our backyard has been a swamp because of the work that they did.   They removed drainage in our yard and did not replace it properly.  We've had several other contractors tell us we'll need to remove the expensive stone wall that the Natural Accent installed in order to fix the drainage and use our yard again.  We have tried working with James on multiple occasions to fix the yard and there has been a complete lack of response.  If you want a quality landscaper that is responsive to your needs, this is not the company for you.  We expect to sink another 5-10k to repair the backyard after the mess they left us.

After Natural Accent company did a major overhaul to our front yard last year, we had them return this fall for a smaller project in the back yard.
We wanted a stone patio, two small retention walls and a sidewalk replaced with nicer stone.  We requested quotes and drawings from three companies for this project.  The information Adam provided told us that he listened carefully
to our requirements.  His quote was the most reasonable.  He was accommodating when we needed to make a few small changes to the plan and arranged the job around our new deck.
After the stone work was completed, Adam and his crew prepared the ground and sewed grass seed.  A few days after planting the grass, a deluge of rain flooded the backyard.  Once again, Adam returned with more dirt and seed.  He worked the area so any more rainfall would flow away from the patio.  He did not charge us for this extra work.     
We are very happy with the work that was done.  We're now enjoying the view from both our front yard and back yard thanks to Natural Accent.  We have received compliments from many folks in the neighborhood.

Company did an excellent job planning and installing the garden. During the proposal stage, we requested the company help us maintain the garden each season after it was installed. At that time, it was no problem. Once the job was completed, we had a problem with one tree during the warranty period. It was very difficult to get them to replace the damaged tree, and the company had no interest in taking care of the garden or advising us on how we could do it.

They were on time, very polite, and reasonably priced. We have recommended him to several people.
