***PLEASE READ*** I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! ON 4/20 PLUMBER CAME OUT, NO PROTECTIVE GEAR & COUGHING ALL OVER THE PLACE. SAME GUY BACK TODAY. STILL COUGHING, NO PROTECTIVE GEAR AGAIN, & WEARING BOOTIES FOR HIS SHOES IN & OUT OF THE HOUSE, WALKING TO HIS TRUCK, DRIVEWAY & BACK TO OUR BATHROOM. COUGHING LIKE HE WAS SICK AGAIN. I CALLED THE OFFICE MANAGER WHILE HE WAS HERE & REPORTED IT. OFFICE MANAGER SAID THEY HAVE PROTECTIVE WEAR. ON 4/20 VISIT, LOW WATER PRESSURE. WE HEARD THE WATER START TO RUN IN THE TOILET A FEW TIMES A DAY IN GUEST BATHROOM TOILET. WE DON'T USE THIS BATHROOM. SO WHEN I WALKED IN THERE YESTERDAY, I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR, PLUS MOLD,& MILDEW. APPARENTLY A SLOW LEAK. PLUMBER EVEN SAYS IT WASN'T LEAKING WHEN HE CAME ON 4/20. PLUMBER RETURNS TODAY. PER MY EMAIL & TEXTS, HE WAS HEADED HERE AT 7:58 A.M. HE GOT HER AFTER 9:30 A.M.. HE ADMITS THAT HE HAD TO MESS WITH THE ANGEL STOP ON 4/20 VISIT & HAD TO TURN IT OFF WHILE REPAIRING. HE SAYS THAT'S WHERE THE LEAK IS COMING FROM. BUT, HE SAYS HE DIDN'T CAUSE THE LEAK. YET, HE TAMPERS WITH IT AND THEN WE ALL OF SUDDEN HAVE A LEAK. CHARGED ME $190 FOR FIRST VISIT. NOW WANTS TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER $198. SEE PICS OF MOLD, MILDEW.

I was charged $450 for 15 minutes work to replace a 4" long section of drainpipe. The Technician got purple primer on my walls and floor, which he said would not come out. After 10 minutes he told me we were good to go, he was ready to leave and I asked my wife to run the water from upstairs. It leaked. why would he not ask to check? Then he came back with rubber cement and was going simply put rubber cement on the outside of the joint, which is what my wife rightly called a "rinky ****" way to do it. I asked him if the correct way was to made sure the whole joint was properly sealed. He agreed to do the repair the correct way after I challenged him. He ended up putting a hose clamp and rubber boot over the joint. I don't know if this is a good repair long term or not. At least it does not leak. The Technician was a nice fellow, but made a mess, did a bad job, tried to leave before testing, then tried to fix his mistake in a way that would not have lasted. VERY BAD....Imagine if I was not checking the pipe would still be leaking. DO NOT RECOMMEND - CALL SOMEONE ELSE!

I spent $1000, $700 for the repair and $300 for recommended maintenance and it was still not working. They proceeded to give me an additional estimate for $600. I was upset and questioned this. They then said that they would not recommend doing the $600 additional work, recommend a new heater and offered to give me $450 dollars towards a new heater which they quoted me $5000. The highest quote for a new water heater that I can find is around $2500 (at the highest). I feel completely scammed, am out $1000 and still don't have hot water. The technician was polite and respectful. Although he obviously has no idea what he is doing with tankless water heaters, he would probably be fine for other routine jobs. The thing that I am most upset about is that I suspected that they were not qualified and I should never have agreed to the work but I had false confidence since they were recommended from Angie's List.

The guy gave an estimate that was really high, but made it sound like a team of guys would work several hours to install a sewer drain access and unclog the drain. It was an emergency situation for me that prevented me from getting additional quotes. BIG MISTAKE. It turns out that only one man worked for about 8 hours. The cost was about $2500 including labor and less than $20 worth of materials, like a few feet of pvc pipe. These guys are crooks.

I would not not recommend Mr. Rooter! I had great success with their sister company, Mr. Handyman, who referred me to Mr. Rooter. That's why I went with them. My first quarrel with Mr. Rooter is that I had a $25 off coupon from Mr. Handyman, which they said that Mr. Rooter may honor (Mr. Handyman said they would have honored Mr. Rooter's coupon). This was not the case though, Mr. Rooter would not honor the coupon. I had an isolation gate-valve removed from an interior wall of my house. There was an existing hole in the sheet rock where the gate valve was. The hole had to be enlarged to about 4" x 12". Mr. Rooter wanted $88 to enlarge the hole. I told Mr. Rooter I would take care of that part and it literally took me less than 2 minutes, it's easiest $88 I've ever saved. I would have paid them to do it if there prices were more reasonable. Thirdly, and perhaps most dissatisfying, the plumber they sent out to do the work didn't let the pipe completely drain before cutting it. This, of course, let water rush out of the pipe. We're not talking a little water here, it was a bunch! Water got all over the inside and outside of the wall and the floor. Luckily it was in a basement with cement/tile floors, so damage was minimal. The studs and sheet rock remained wet for many hours after the plumber left. Mr. Rooter made no effort to clean up the water or stop it from flowing all over. I personally grabbed 3 beach towels to put down to prevent the water from spreading further. Although the work did get completed, my experience was very poor. Mr. Rooter is overpriced and they apparently will send plumbers over who do not know what they're doing.

Great- they replaced the part whereas another service company recommended replacing the entire water heater at a cost of $3-6K. So nice to see integrity in a company these days.

The system was put in efficiently in a somewhat difficult yard with large rocks and many trees. We have no complaints. about the price. The yard could have been smoothed over better.

Great! Prompt response, came when they said they would. He gave us good advice for purchasing a toilet, what to look for, then installed it after we purchased it.

I wrote a very detailed review that didn't save. The Cliff Notes version is this: The tank was installed in my attic but the plumber and his helped sawed my dropstairs in half and then superglued them back together. Not Acceptable! Potentially Hazardous! No adjustment to bill, no apology, no resolution. Cost me over $600 to have repaired properly.

Great! The plummer took pictures on his IPad to let us see the work that had been done under the crawl space, and sent them to our email, so that we will always have a copy.

I made a Big Deal purchase with them. It went fine. What I liked most is that they were able to come out, I believe, that same day and it was on a weekend. With the deal that I bought I was told that it was only valid during business hours which was like Monday to Friday and they came out on a Sunday. I was going to tell them, "We're fine. Come back tomorrow on a Monday and do the work" and he was like, "If I'm gonna do that, I might as well do it now with the deal". They were trying to tell me first I couldn't use the deal because it could only be used Monday to Friday. They do free estimates and I said, "Alright, come back tomorrow then and not use the deal" and he was like, "I'll just do it". That was the main issue with them. Other than that, he was very nice and did quality work. This was my first time using them.

I had a sewer smell in my kitchen sink. I found MR. Rooter on Angie's list and called. They dispatched a technician within 4 hours, He arrived in the time window frame promised. He determined that what I had was a temporary blockage in my drain lines that corrected itself. He gave me a quote on a price to do the rooting work if the problem reoccurred. There was no charge for the visit on July 1. Very impressed with the professionalism and promptness, considering I was a new customer. Definitely will use them again if a plumbing problem occurs
