Molton Flooring

The crew did a great job. They were very responsive to my requests. The entire process took 4 days. After the job was complete, there was one small area that the stain shading was off. It was in a high traffic area so I called Jarek and he had someone there the next day and he sanded and re-stained the area. It looks terrific. I would definitely hire them again if the need arose!

They did an excellent job in every way. They moved all the furniture (5 rooms), and drapes, put up a barrier to prevent dust from getting everywhere. Then they removed the existing hardwood flooring and replaced it with new. It was sanded, stained and varnished in a timely manner. Then the house was cleaned, the furniture and drapes replaced. Jarek's team is very professional, they would clean every evening before they left. The new floors are beautiful and when they left my home looked as it did before they arrived.

I would recommend Jarek. He is a straight shooter and doesn't make you spend more than you need to.
He is upfront and tells you what your home needs.  His prices are fair and he is reasonable.

Molton floors did an OK job in servicing our hardwood floors downstairs. They sanded and refinished the floors over the course of a week. However, we had to call them back twice to fix lazy mistakes like bubbles in the polyurethane and getting some carpet in the polyurethane. They also did a poor job sanding near doors and left large scratches and divots in the floor near doorways. There is still some stain on the metal around the doors that just represents sloppy work.
Finally, they managed to lose the key we gave them to our house. I would not recommend their work to anyone.

I would recommend them to anyone. They were professional, and they paid attention to details. They were hardworking. They worked seven days a week, and they even worked on an Easter Sunday. I could not have been anymore impressed with the work they did. They did a phenomenal job!

He was the only one that accommodated my wish not to leave my home for a weekend. All the other wanted us to be out of the house. For a certain amount of hours you are not allowed to walk on the floors and you can't open doors and windows, so that was the reason. He did all of the downstairs floors. It was only me in the house and I went upstairs, I waited that amount of hours and then the floors were dry. His prices were also the lowest. It looks like he has put down a new floor but he really just refinished it. He was fantastic.

We had Jaric from Molton flooring install over 1200 sq. feet of hardwood flooring and I would not hesitate to recommend them and have them back if we need more work done.

We brought in 4 people for quotes. Molton had the best proposal with the other quotes 25 to 40% higher. We decided that since all things seemed equal in terms of work, Molton was the company for the job. The bulk of the job was installing the floors upstairs, 2 staircases, and a room on the main floor. We had carpet removed, a subfloor removed from one small bedroom, and had oak installed and everything finished with water based finish. They matched the color of the floors almost spot on with respect to our existing floors.

The job in terms of duration and cost was identical to the estimate. There was a little bit of dust in our home due to sanding but really it was a minor issue. It could have been a lot worse, I saw the bags of dust they took out of our home.

Overall-the floors look beautiful! Jaric and his team did a great job! The only minor complaint would be that it seems like I was the one
initiating communication with respect to the project as opposed to Jaric driving things. Maybe I was just eager to get the job done, but all in all we’re very happy with them across the board.

All of the work was of exceptional quality and reasonably priced. This company provides great value and there is great attention to detail. One thing I would say is that if you are getting flooring work done and are hesitant to call them because the job requires other work as well, don't worry about it. Molton will likely perform the job even if the work is not 100% flooring. I also liked that they provided a quote within 24 hours of me calling them and I did not have to wait several weeks to get it scheduled. They were ready to go the same week. No surprised on the cost at the end of the job either and there was no hard sell to get other jobs, although I did ask him for ballpark estimates on a couple of jobs, he let me drive the conversation and was not pushy about it.

Did an excellent job. Very professional from estimate through installation and made himself available for any follow ups which have not been needed. Would use this company again without hesitation.

It went great -- everything was on-time, on-budget, and he left it cleaner that when he started.

Molton Flooring was contracted for removal of our old flooring and installation of our new hardwood floor. Everything from the initial estimate to the final sign off on completion of the project exceeded our expectations. Jarek is a true gentleman and businessman and as his website said guaranteed his results and is true to his word. They were always prompt and on time and the detail and effort displayed on a daily basis is simply amazing. Being apprehensive as to how much of our house we wished to replace with hardwood flooring we left the bedrooms, living room, and stairway and bonus room carpeted. We were so impressed with Jarek's work we have already got estimates to replace the rest of the house with hardwood when time allows. Jarek's professionalism has opened our eyes to the fact that there are still indeed businesses that pride themselves in their workmanship, quality, and customers service.

The service was excellent. Jarek came out and gave us a quote that was very competitive. We wanted to go with hardwood floors that were not pre-fab because if we had any issues later in life we wanted to be able to replace/repair the flooring easily. We chose the wider 5" boards and couldn't be more pleased. Jarek was very professional, and it is great to know that he is the owner and that he does the work himself. He and Matt arrived on time each day and got right to work. They were able to get the carpet out in the morning on the first day and immediately started installing the hardwood floors. The floors match our hardwood floors downstairs. We also had our front stairs re-finished and they look wonderful as well. They were done all the work by Thursday. With a Monday start date that is pretty impressive. Another thing to point out is that they were very, very clean. You would not even know that we had had hardwood floors installed. There was virtually no dust!! They also took away every piece of carpet, wood, etc. Truly you couldn't ask for a better clean up! We will be using Molton flooring again to re-finish our hardwood downstairs at some point. You should definitely call and get a quote from Jarek - you won't be disappointed. Excellent workmanship, very clean, efficient and superb installation. We are very happy customers!

Best price by far! Completed the project in a timely manner and was responsive to corrections that I felt needed to be made along the way. Really great guy to work with! Floors look amazing.

When I first met Jarek and Chris, I was pleased with the idea of working with guys who were very friendly and personable. They gave me a quick and beautiful estimate of the cost to not only sand and refinish all the floors, but also to repair a pretty nasty area from a removed wall. They quoted me for 2 different stain types, explaining the pros and cons of both, and helped me to determine why which stain would be perfect for our house. They were able to get started about a week after I called to pick a start date, and took a mere 3 days to sand, refinish, and repair our 1,000 so ft home. The floors turned out GORGEOUS! Everyone who has been in it has asked if we had new floors laid down. They can't believe that there was actually a hole in the floor at one time. These guys really know what they are doing, and manage to stay professional and friendly while doing it.
