Mobile Mower Techs

Made an appointment to have our old Toro lawnmower tuned up (had it for
about 10 years, never really did anything for maintenance other than add
some oil now and then). Natalie promptly called back to book appointment
(approximately one week out - great for this VERY busy time of year), and
quoted prices for service. Express service as above - $89.95 + parts.
Tim Bowden (owner) showed up at our house at the specified time, brought
all of his equipment in a neat little trailer, explained all that he was going to do,
very professional and polite. Did all of the maintenance work at the top of our
driveway in about 30 minutes, cleaned up everything afterwards so that you
couldn't see any residual material. Showed me the rusted spark plug (good
luck trying to start the mower with THAT) and the clogged air filter, both of which
he replaced for less than $20. Also adjusted the height of the blades so that my
husband wouldn't give the long grass a crew cut!
The mower works perfectly now, service was performed in a timely manner for
an excellent price at our home. No lugging around the mower in my car, waiting
forever for work to be completed, or trying to figure out what parts to use/dispose
of old oil. A good deal if there ever was one - highest of recommendations!!!

Although I expected that he might cancel due to rain, he came when scheduled after he called to say he was on his way.
I was very pleased with the promptness, convenience, quality of work, and explanation of some extra touches he does as part of his regular maintenance. In the past I've either attempted the maintenance myself(shopping for the parts, recycling the oil, etc.) or struggled to hoist the push mower into my car to take it to and from a service shop (and usually waited a week plus to have the work completed).
I surely enjoyed relaxing with a cup of coffee while all the work was being done in my driveway. In the past after having mowers serviced, they have occasionally not started. I've already mowed my winter grass, problem free, two times already since the maintenance.
This was a great service to find and I will definitely call on him again for yearly maintenance and any needed repairs.

I selected Tim from Angies List based on the excellent reviews and the fact that he came to your house to work. When I called, Tim he was able to come within a few days. He diagnose the problem very quickly as a bad coil. This was a part he had to order and it took about a week to arrive at which time he called and scheduled a time to finish the job. Tim is very punctual and professional and very open to discussion and answering any and all questions. Even though he had to make two visits to complete the repair he charged me only for the original trip. I would highly recommend him and he will definitely receive my business in the future.

Tim was very responsive in contacting me to schedule the repair. I was able to get on the schedule within days. I left the mower outside since I was at work. He did all the work described above and called me to report out.

Professional,punctual friendly service. Very impressed. Came on a day that we experience a down pour and not having a garage was please to see the repair vehicle was equipped with all need to service and shelter. Highly recommend.

Tim showed up in the time frame promised. He repaired my John Deere riding mower, which wouldn't start, performed routine maintenance, and replaced the front tires. During the maintenance he noticed a problem with my mower deck separating from one of the deck hangers. probably due to rust. He had a welding set with him and fixed that. problem also. The total time for these fixes was less than 2 hours and the cost was only slightly above what I paid last year for just the routine maintenance. I was very pleased and would highly recommend him.

I had a very good experience. He came to my house to do the repair work. He was very punctual. He was efficient. He was very polite. I am very happy with his work. He had all the parts in his trailer. I admire him for doing the work on his own.

The repairman was prompt and thorough and professional. He explained all his findings and reasons for recommendation. My husband was well satisfied with the service.

Arrived on time, discussed planned services. performed services, tested equipment. advised of need to replace blades on riding mower next year.

Tim did a good job and it was wonderful not having to get a trailer hitch and lug my mowers to a mechanic. He came out in a timely and professional manner. He was very well equipped to do the tune up work I needed. One issue I have is that he was not really able to diagnose the problem with the Toro mower and made judgements about its serviceability that turned out to be incorrect. I was able to take the mower to Aldridge-Durham Mower, a Toro dealer, and they got it started, cleaned it up, sharpened the blade, and gave it back to me at a very reasonable price. It did not need a new motor at all. So I would definitely use Mobile Medic again for tune ups, sharpening the blades, etc. but not for serious service work.

The fact that they do come to ones house and they don't have to deliver their lawn mover anywhere which is nice. The guy was very professional and reliable. He did what he said he was going to. He was responsive and he returned my call. I would use him again in the future.

Jim came in, and he was very nice. He was personable and quiet. He didn't overstep his bounds, as far as rearranging. He got the tractor himself and brought it out. He has all of the equipment in his trailer. He was able to service it right there. He let us know when it was done, and he let us know what needed to be replaced. We had one concern about the tractor, and he explained what was wrong with that. My husband is the one who spoke with him. He seemed very pleased with him. The price was fairly reasonable. He couldn't come the first day we scheduled him, and he called two or three days ahead of time to let us know. We were able to reschedule, and he came right when he said he'd be here.

MLM came out to the house (arrived on time!) and performed the service work on our lawn tractor quickly and professionally. After performing the work, he gave me a concise explanation of what was done and his opinion of the general "health" of the tractor. I would absolutely use this company again.

My experience with this company was very good; from phone call to finished work. I especially appreciated being shown what was being done and how to do it. I would recommend him to anyone and will call again if I need help with any of my small engine equipment.

I made the appointment a few days before the actual service. MLM performed the service at my house while I was at work. They left me an invoice attached to the lawnmower. The mower appeared to have been serviced well and they left it cleaner than I left it for them. I sent them a check in the mail to pay for the service. Even though it was more expensive than taking my mower into a shop, the convenience of not having to load it up into my vehicle and the quick turn around time makes it worth the extra cost.

Fantastic! Wonderful! Tim was very friendly and professional. He had both mowers fixed within 45 minutes! He listened as I explained the problems with each mower. And he showed me the work he did and what wasn't working properly. He even showed me how to fix the problem myself if it happens again! The price for the repair of both mowers was less than I was quoted for just the diagnostics at another repair shop (when I would have to lug them in). If I could give Mobile Lawnmower Medic higher than an A, I would!
