Mike D's Washer and Dryer Repair

Mike came the day we called. He said we didn't have a washing machine leak; it was just some splashing from some heavy loads. He did not have time to do a full cleaning job on our dryer that day but did get a bunch of lint out and said it would be a long time before we needed to do anything else and he showed us how to get most of the lint out ourselves. Bottom line: He came the day we called, at the time he said, solved two problems in about half an hour, and charged us a small amount of money. Couldn't be happier.

Very well. Very prompt and knowledgeable. Made repairs seem easy and had everything he needed in his vehicle.

He gave me the approximate time he could be here and texted me when he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem immediately but was concerned about finding the part. I asked him about a work around if he couldn't find it and he explained the pros and cons. He found the part(s) and came out the next morning to do the repair - at the time he had told me to expect him. Quick, efficient, professional, and pleasant.

Mike repaired the dryer without my approval on the parts and pricing, only contacted me after the part was installed and gave me very little choice on price of the part. Part failed just days after the 12 month repair date and Mike refused to assist with that repair, told me to 'take it up with Whirlpool'. He has a confrontational attitude if any issue arises with your repair, easily upset. Would not use again even if he waived labor charge. Buyer beware.

Mike was very responsive - came out the same afternoon I called.  Mike text me 15 minutes before his arrival to let me know he was on his way.  Mike was able to get into my dryer from the top so he didn't have to move it at all (the dryer is in a very tight location).  Because he had everything with him, Mike was able to repair and clean without leaving to get parts.  Start to finish took about an hour and a half.  Mike cleaned up after himself.  I'm very please with Mike's promptness, thoroughness, and cleanliness.

My washer would not advance to the drain & spin cycle on any of the washer settings. I looked up repairmen on Angies list and decided on Mike. I called him and he arrived in about two hours, diagnosed the problem as a faulty switch, had one in his van. He replaced the switch and had the washer repaired in less than 30 minutes. Punctual and professional and painless

I called Monday evening and he came out the next day - right on time. He opened the dryer, checked to make sure the problem wasn't something with the dryer itself. He fully cleaned the vent, both inside and outside. And he was fast! I recommend Mike and will contact him first if I have another problem with my washer or dryer.
I have since done a couple of loads of laundry and problem solved! Thanks Mike.

I had been trying to attach a semi-rigid dryer vent to my Maytag dryer for 3 days. I bought pretty much every dryer vent part that the big box stores sold but couldn't get the vent hose to attach to the dryer. In desperation, I checked for videos of how to attach the vent tube to the dryer. That's when I noticed that the factory-installed rigid exhaust was missing. The vent tube should slide over exhaust so this explained why I was having so much trouble. Plus, the vent to outside was set into a recessed box so I had to install rigid elbows to attach the semi-rigid vent. This wasn't going smoothly, either so I decided to call in a professional.
I called Mike (who answered his phone himself!) and explained the issue. We arranged for him to come over the next afternoon to do the installation. He arrived on time and immediately assessed the situation. The exhaust wasn't available locally so he ordered it from his supplier, at a lower cost than anyplace I could find online. Just when I was resigned to hauling the dirty clothes to the laundromat until the part was delivered, he created a temporary exhaust that would allow the dryer to work safely for long enough to tide me over. 
While the back was off f the dryer, Mike vacuumed out the lint and checked to make sure it was safe. Then he pointed out that the power cord had the wrong type of plug (it had 3 prongs but the plug had 4) and would need to be replaced. He had the correct part in his truck & replaced the cord for just a few dollars.
He also checked to ensure that the washer had been hooked up properly and tightened up the hoses.
I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone who needs their washer or dryer repaired. He is professional, highly skilled, and very reasonably priced.

Called Mike after finding him on Angie"s list. He first quoted me over the phone approx. how much it was going to cost and said that he could be here in an hour!!! DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! He showed up like he said he would and quickly figured out the problem. Went and got the parts. (the whole tub had to be replaced.) And he had the job done in less than 2 hours! Great Job!
