From start to cleanup, Metropolitan Builders did an outstanding job for us. Our project manager, Cameron, worked seamlessly with our insurance, Nationwide. Everything was done in a timely, efficient manner, and the finished product is outstanding. The best tribute is that several neighbors are also using Metropolitan. I definitely recommend.

Metropolitan Builders did a fantastic job putting on our new roof. They were able to complete the roof quickly and gave updates during the job. Our roof was being replaced before we moved in our new home. With a last minute color change to the roof, we still stayed on schedule thanks to great customer service. It was a pleasure to work with Metropolitan Builders on the replacement of our roof. Nick was easy to work with and was available throughout negotiating with our insurance company. He first inspected our roof making documentation and assisting me through the process as well as meeting with our insurance company’s inspector. Once the insurance was approved, Mark helped us with a list of homes to view shingles, and set up the replacement of our roof. The job was done over a few days, they worked hard start to finish, and did a great job cleaning up the mess. Our new roof looks awesome! beyond great, they were courteous, professional, did a great clean up of the property, worked with our insurance company. I've watched other roofing companies in our neighborhood put up signs for homes they hav under contract. Metropolitan Builders did the job immediately, while so many of our neighbors are still waiting for other companies to show up.

They were a referral from an insurance adjuster. We had some hail damage. My insurance company paid for everything except the deductible. I didn’t shop for them so I don’t know if that was a good price or not. I would say they are competitive and that it was a fair price. As far as I can tell, their quality is an A. Yes, I would use this provider again. They did a good job and they were professional in their execution of the job. They were responsive when I had questions. We had one minor issue that was take care of.

The entire process was seamless. The project manager, Nick Singleton, performed a free hail damage inspection and came back to meet with our insurance agent and their independent inspector. The roofing crew arrived on time, worked from 7 am to 7 pm on day 1, and finished up on day 2 exactly when they said they would. I have a garden box on my deck, and they took care not to damage the box or the growing vegetables. The payment process was simple. Our insurance paid approximately half the claim amount up front, which was used as the down payment to Metropolitan. After the roof completion, Metropolitan sent the final bill to the insurance company, and we expect that check in the next week or so. Once received, Nick will return for a final inspection and we will complete the payment to Metropolitan. There was no money out of pocket except our deductible. The roof looks great and we love it.

Contractor performed solid work and the roof and copper look great. They initiated a claims process with my insurance company for which I was grateful. Once the claim had been approved they performed the work. Overall I'm satisfied, however, you should know that the contractor is quick to assist with the claims process but at the end of the day, when the job is done, they expect payment right then and there, regardless of the funding process with the insurance company. For me, the proceeds were released by the insurance company in stages and each disbursement had to be signed off by my mortgage company. It was going to take a while but Metro informed me of their policy to send me a notice of intent to lien if the bill was not paid in what was going to be 13 business days from completion. This strong arm tactic was not handled professionally in my opinion. I ended up paying them out of my cash and waited for insurance proceeds just to be done with it. If they are going to assist with the claims process and understand that we are relying on insurance proceeds then they should be more accommodating than "Due upon Receipt." Roof looks great though.
