We had a flat tire on the highway and after putting the little spare tire on, we slowly drove torwards our home.
I knew Merchants Tire was on the way but wasn't aware they were open on a Sunday, lo and behold they were!
Not only were they accommodating and knowledgeable, they "fixed" the tire. They could easily have sold us a brand new tire and rim (we would not have known the difference) but they inspected the damage and were able to discern that the tire was not damaged, therefore we were safe to drive on it when repaired.
I want to commend Woody Barber and his Manager,Vick, for their exemplary service.  They are excellent ambassadors for Merchant's Tire and can be proud of the professionalism and compassion they displayed.
We can't thank them enough and you can be certain we will return to Merchant's in the future!
 

The week prior to this service I brought my vehicle into this shop for an oil change and which included a general inspection. They advised me I would need new tires (which I knew), brakes in the next 1-2 years and flushing of the brake fluid (it could be done now but could also wait until the brakes were replaced) and flushing of the power steering fluid. They had competitive prices on tires and the location is convenient for me, so I returned for the tire replacement and the power steering fluid flush. I had to pre-order the tires, yet when I dropped it off for the service, the representative said and quot;it is a good thing you only need 3 tires because that is all we have in stock.and quot; It seems they either don't keep very good records or don't look at them because I had to remind him that I had ordered the tires the week prior when it was in for the oil change. A few days after having the services performed, I was browsing the manufacturer's support bulletins looking for information on a sunroof leak when I stumbled across a bulletin advising that their vehicles do not require fluid flushing with the exception of failures or contamination. Although the wasted $ is a concern, this mostly irritates me because it means they did not research my vehicle before recommending the service and presumably the manufacturer has reasons for advising not to flush the fluids (e.g. the flushing process introduces more risk than potential benefit).

It was good. They were able to get me the tires I need and they had the tires the next day and within one hour they had the car ready.

They are courteous, prompt, and convenient. The only downside was the inside of my car was very dusty after the work. Other than that they were great and I would go back to them again.

We went to Merchant's Tire and Auto centre for a new motor battery. We are using their services for the last four or five years. I had an emergency and they could help me immediately. They can handle last minute repairs. They are extremely professional and courteous.

Their promise is new tires in under an hour and they take appointments. They were true to their word, I approached the desk after one hour exactly and the invoice was there. There was no hard sell on the tires I purchased, just basic information on warranty and expected tread wear. They did give me $40 off the four tires I bought after I asked if they had any sales or coupons. They brought me into the shop to inspect the brakes. They had written up another invoice for extra work: new brakes, bleed brakes, and clean brakes. It was only a soft sell, and I was glad to be able to see the brake pads as I monitor the condition of the brakes myself. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. I'm glad that the time they took for the extra service, and invoice didn't make them go over the one hour they promised. They get a quality rating of B because there are finger smudges on the hub caps.
