Brett and his team were wonderful. They were on time and worked quickly, precisely and efficiently. He had great ideas about how to help us get the most bang for our buck, and his price was very reasonable. We appreciate the great work, and we'll definitely use Longhorn Tree Service again!

They were varying sizes. Nothing was too huge. They've done some work for us a couple of weeks ago. They're just really reliable, punctual and responsive. They're all the things you want them to be.

Brett is a very nice guy. based on our initial meeting I hired him without getting any other estimates (I had contacted 2 other contractors but didn't have estimates yet). His crew came on a Sunday due to bad weather Saturday. When they arrived I reviewed what was to be done and pointed out all 3 trees that needed attention. After they removed the tree they asked for the payment. When I showed them the 2 trees to be trimmed they acted surprised, despite me discussing it with them 3 hours earlier. The older guy looked at one of the trees, realized it would need to be climbed to be trimmed, and threw his tools down and walked to the truck muttering under his breath. They trimmed the 2 trees, got paid and left.

They left debris on my driveway, left my security sign laying on the lawn, and either their truck or their chipper dropped about 2 dozen spots of oil on my freshly powerwashed driveway (done 2 weeks earlier).

So, they did the work in a timely manner and completed it successfully. The older guy had an attitude, they didn't clean up well when done, and left oil on my driveway.

Brett followed up 5 days later and I informed him of the issues. He is unhappy to be getting a bad review. Based on my experience I'm surprised he hasn't received any bad reviews until now. He made no offer to compensate me for the attitude or the mess his workers left behind. The oil on the driveway is not acceptable, as I just had it powerwashed professionally; I will now have to bring the powerwasher contractor back out to see if he can clean it up, at my expense.

Generally an unhappy experience. I would not hire Brett again and I will not recommend him to anyone.

Brett's guys did an amazing job. They were punctual, quick and did a great job of cleaning up the back yard when they were done. Brett's quote was reasonable and he was able to get us scheduled quickly. I will definitely use them again.

Brett came out to survey the tree damage within a couple hours of my phone call, then had a crew come out early the next morning to take care of it by noon. We couldn't have asked for more prompt service!

Brett responded very quickly to my call as I had a large limb come down during a wind storm and I needed it removed. We decided to remove both large maple trees since both were compromised by age and deterioration. Brett's crew arrived promptly, were very friendly and did the job quickly as arranged. I would highly recommend Longhorn. Brett knows his stuff and is trustworthy.

The crew came to the house at the time prescribed and trimmed the limbs discussed. The yard was cleaned up and limbs ground up to taken away. After they left, I discovered a limb that had been missed that was in a problem area. I called and they returned a few days later and handled the limb with the same professional workmanship.

The process and end product were great. I called Brett and he immediately came out to provide an estimate. Longhorn was less than a few other services I contacted. After agreeing to the proposed price Brett immediately scheduled a date for service within a week. His crew came out, were very professional, and did a great job with the whole project. I asked for a few additional branches to be removed and this was done at no extra charge. The crew did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. I would highly recommend Longhorn and use them again for future tree services. Brett was a pleasure to work with.

Longhorn Tree Service did a great job with our tree removal project. From the beginning, when he came to estimate the project, it quickly became clear that Brett Plummer knows his craft well. He noticed things about the trees that several other landscape folks missed - like lightening scars on some trees, an ant infestation in the decayed section at the base of a tree, a compromised trunk in the upper limbs of another tree.

The prices quoted for the work was very competitive with other bids. The Longtree Service quote included the removal of all lumber and materials, and the grinding of the tree stumps which was subcontracted and coordinated by Brett.

In addition, Longhorn Tree Service met my expectations in terms of safety and quality of work. Because of the height of the trees, it was important to me that the successful bidder have insurance and all the necessary equipment to do the job safely. I was pleased Longhorn Tree Service had both.

The crew was extremely professional, taking great care at each stage of the project to protect themselves, their colleagues, the trees and yard, and the house. And when they finished the project, the area was immaculate.
Brett (owner) made sure I was satisfied with his company's work. It was a pleasure to work with him and his crew.

The job went very well. I was not able to see the work in progress but was very impressed when I returned home that evening. Brett did everything we discussed and did it well. He priced fairly and did not try to inflate it. They cleaned up and removed all trees and limbs and did a nice job.
