Leaf & Limb

I would not recommend working with Leaf & Limb. They change appointments multiple times, making it almost impossible for homeowners to anticipate their arrival and then to directly communicate with the arborists on site. We have previously worked with Leaf & Limb which should have past documentation about how we are conservative in cutting our dogwood. But now, our dogwood has been irreparably changed in shape. You cannot glue cut tree limbs. I cannot express how heartbroken I am that our beloved tree has been trimmed in a way that did not at all reflect our desires. I would not recommend working with Leaf & Limb.

Hired on referral from our local nursery, they were supposed to plant our entire yard, take care of some existing trees, etc. Big job. Matt showed up originally, nice guy and knowledgeable, but then that was it. The people who showed up had no idea what they were doing, dug tiny holes and brought un-labled, sick plants. Most of what they planted died within the first week, half of it wasn't even the right plant or was in the wrong place. When we showed them right away we got "It may come back" or "we'll replant next year, the season is gone". Of course they did not. They never finished, Matt left and nobody else there knew what was going on. Two years later of not responding to us they now pop up asking for full payment to consider it "done" or MORE money to finish, despite an abandoned job and majority failure, but we've replaced most the plants ourselves now. Stay away, horrible company.

It's fine. They did a great job. I've been using them for years now, and they've been very good.

It took a couple of weeks to get an estimate because they were backed up due to all of the hurricane damages in the area. But once I got the estimate they actually were able to get it done early (in fact in three days) even though they are very busy right now. Kelly Godwin was the estimator. He was punctual, friendly, and very helpful. He found an early opening to get the limb off and to stop damaging my roof! I found the price to be reasonable for the work required.

A certified arborist came out initially to see what was needed and gave me a written estimate. Communication by phone, email and in person was clear and professional. They were up front about needing the scheduling to be somewhat flexible, and were able to get to me a little sooner than expected (which was fortunate because it got done before Hurricane Florence). The arborist supervised the crew and pruned a couple of difficult shrubs himself. They did a great job and left my property better cleaned up than when they arrived, even removed a pile of dead limbs I had left on my driveway. I did not get price quotes from other businesses, so I can't speak to how their prices compare.

I could not be more pleased. I would hire them again for future projects without hesitation.

Greyson came out and spent quality time to go over our needs for the trees and didn't rush the visit which I appreciate. We were looking for someone who was a certified arborist who was going to help the health of our current trees and prune where the trees needed help. He sent a quote back and moved forward from there. His team arrived on time and finished the job in 2 days - we have a large yard. Unfortunately, one of the tree limbs fell on our irrigation line and we had to have that fixed immediately. It was a small set back and happy the company reimbursed us immediately for the cost of having it repaired. Wonderful and competant team who cares about saving your trees and not just cutting them down. Customer service - fantastic!

Wonderfully well!

It went great! They arrived very punctually and left at the time when they were supposed to even though I asked for an extra shrub to be taken down. They were very personable and cleaned up really well. I would highly recommend them.

I reached out to three companies, Leaf & Limb was one of the two that got back to me really quickly, and the first to get back to me with a quote and confirmation that they would do the work on one of the possible days I had listed. In their words "I can make this happen", and they did. The person who came out was polite, friendly, professional, and did a great job. Would definitely recommend using Leaf&Limb again.

Could not have been better. Joe clearly explained situation with sick trees. They could treat them but it would be costly and there would be no guarantees that they would recover. We decided to remove them. They have an excellent program for injection fertilization of trees and shrubs which is done every six months. I'm having the second treatment this week. Everyone looks healthy and happy.

They did a good job. Their services are not cheap, but the reason is that they carry full insurance including workers' comp, something I would demand from any firm doing dangerous work like large tree removal.

The work was done about three weeks later, which was fine. Communication was done via e-mail. The trees were removed and stumps ground. The outcome was excellent.

The crew of Chris, Brian and Matt were excellent, very professional. They negotiated my tricky driveway with their bucket truck successfully and cleaned up beautifully. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

They were fairly expensive, we found, so we only ended up removing a couple of trees as opposed to what we were wanting to do, but they did a good job and they were reliable. I’d give them an A for work. We couldn’t afford to do more, but I thought their work was excellent. They were thorough. They were watchful. We were pleased with everything, it just wasn’t something we were able to do as much as we wanted. I don’t want it to go against them, it was just a little bit too pricey for us. I don’t know in comparison to others, where that was, so yeah, I would say leave that at an A – I don’t want it to go against them. They were very nice.

Went very well. They even moved up the date when there was a cancellation and they could fit us in. The crew was very pleasant and professional. They cleaned up so well that you couldn't tell they had even been here.

Excellent work, very professional crew, quality service. Second time in two years we used this company. We are very satisfied customers!

On the day of the job, the staff is efficient, professional, and they leave the yard cleaner than before the job started. The rates are very reasonable, as their quotes were much less than other local companies in the triangle. I will continue to use this company for my future tree needs.
