"Hell (removed member name), Thanks so much for the kind words. You and Betty were also wonderful to work with. Your insightfulness and positive attitude throughout the entire process was outstanding and made our job easy. If Kitchen Tune Up can ever be of any service to you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us. Sincerely Mark"
Our cabinets in the Kitchen and master bathroom are eleven years old. Although they were in good shape-no scratches or dents, the finish showed signs of wear. We were hoping to avoid the time and cost of a major refinishing (re-staining). We looked for a restoring service on Angie's List and called Kitchen Tune-up. They explained their process-chemical cleaning, restoring (match color) of areas which discolored, sealing, and applying two coats of polyurethane. The estimated the job would take 1 1/2 days and restored the cabinets to 90-95% of their original conditions. The job took 2 1/2 days since the didn't rush and maintained quality, and brought the cabinets to at least 95% of their original condition.
One last item on cost. One company estimated $3,400 to refinish (not restore) just the kitchen cabinets. We paid $1,700 to have our kitchen cabinets, cabinets under the kitchen island, and master bathroom cabinets restored, and they look like new.

"Thanks so much for the wonderful review, I hope you are enjoying the refreshed look of your kitchen"
Mark was very knowledgeable about his products and very patient with my many questions. I was able to see actual samples of doors I was interested in. No hard sell tactics (which I had heard some firms use). Work was done professionally and well. I felt customer satisfaction was truly a priority for Mark. Just one example - when a door came in with some scratches (which can happen), the installer brought it immediately to my attention and, with no questions asked, a replacement door was immediately re-ordered. No "we'll touch it up" or other tactics. The kitchen and bathrooms look great and I would highly recommend Kitchen Tune-Up.
