This is the second time we used Juan. We dropped 2 chairs off to Juan on October the 27th, 2011 and he said it would take 8 weeks to finish the project. We paid half down which was $300. After 8 weeks arrived, I called Juan to see what the status was on the 2 chairs. He said he had hurt his back but they would be ready in another week. (He did not call to tell me it would be delayed). Another 2 weeks went by and I called him back to see if the chairs were ready. 2 days went by and I had not heard from Juan so I called him back. He left a message the next day and said he had been out of town and that the chairs would be ready within 5 days. Well, another 2 plus weeks went by and I called him again. He called back right away and said the chairs would be ready on Sunday, January the 22nd. My husband went and picked up the chairs on that Sunday.

I must say the quality of the job is outstanding and attention to detail is great, however, I felt like I was yanked around this time by one excuse after another about getting these chairs back way past the promised completion timeframe. If I had not called a few times, I am not sure how long it would have taken to finish this project.

I will probably try someone else for my next upholstery project just to be able to compare.

Simply a great experience from start to finish. We are going to use him again very soon.

Juan upholstered two cushions for a rocking chair that we use in our sun-room. We delivered the old cushions and the fabric to Juan. We had called ahead of time to make an appointment. We had used him before, and we expected another excellent job. We were not disappointed. The cushions are perfect. He is a master craftsman. Use him, you will be pleased with his work.

Juan was prompt and courteous, taking much time with me to discuss the process. The seats were carefully and expertly done. I put them back in the chair frames myself, and I love them!

I called and asked for a quote on re-upholstering my 6 kitchen chairs. He called me back in a very timely manner and we scheduled a time for him to come and look at my chairs and give me a price. I agreed to the price and he took my chairs right then. He kept my chairs for 2 weeks and 2 days. When I got the chairs back the workmanship was beautiful and we were very pleased.
