JOHNSON-LAMBE CO

Purchased shoulder pads for my son. Sales person guessed at the size and only put one size on my son. Although per measurements, these pads should have worked, the pads ended up being too big and my son really struggled during practice. He was was also getting bruises around his collar bones. This is his 3rd year playing football and he has never suffered bruising there. I had his coaches check his pads and they felt the pads were too large. Went back to exchange them for a smaller size. The pads were used for only 4 practices and Johnson-Lamb would not exchange the pads. It broke my heart to hear my son begging me not to spend the extra money and saying he could manage with the equipment he had. I know this company has the local monopoly on sporting equipment but I will never purchase any equipment from them again. My only consolation was seeing how much better my son's practice went with equipment that was properly fitted.
