JOE COOL HVAC INC

Joe Cool came out to service my gas pack, which had been installed by another HVAC company (that shall remain unnamed). The original installers had messed up the installation with sloppy wiring that would cause the an electrical arc across the control circuit board, which Joe Cool had previously located as an issue and fixed. The previous HVAC company had attempted to find the cause of the malfunctions caused by the arcing circuit board and failed, then left the zone dampener motors unconnected and didn't return to reconnect them. Joe Cool reconnected everything, updated the control board and motors to current standards. The repair tech was friendly, competent and professional.

We use Joe Cool, a guy that goes to our church.  I think he's on Angie's List.  Whenever we need HVAC stuff, we use Joe Cool.  He'll say what he's gonna do and then he'll do it, and he'll back it up.  He's definitely dependable and straight with you.  He'll tell you exactly what's going on and then he'll back up his work.  The quality is outstanding.  I don't know what the market is, but I don't shop the market.  He's gonna do the job right, you pay the least amount you want to, and then you get what you pay for.  I know the job's gonna be done right whenever I have him out there.  They go to our church but he also was referred by my neighbor who is actually a trained manufacturer's rep.

Russell showed up when he said and fixed problem. We were up and running in no time. Joe Cool and company always fixes us up and the prices are always reasonable.

Russell did a great job! He was on time, knowledgeable, assessed the problem, explained the needed repair and replaced the fan motor.

Our unit was about 17 years old and finally give out. I called about 3 or 4 places and got quotes and after not feeling completely comfortable with what I was told, I thought about Joe. I work in the pest and termite field and he is actually one of my customers. I thought I would give him a call. His wife handles all of the phone calls and ordering parts and etc. She is VERY nice and helpful and really seems to be on top of everything that is going on. She sent Joe out to see me and he give me a quote on two units. The Trane unit was about 300 more but the obvious call and he was still around 400 to 500 cheaper than everyone else. It was a fair price and the customer service could not have been better. It was not because they were familiar with me either. These are genuinely great people and go out of their way to give you top service. It's been obvious for years. Joe came out himself after the install and showed me how to use the new digital thermostat. It wasn't necessary but he did it anyway and its obvious he cares about his customers and his work. He also took the time to do the warranty paperwork himself to get the extra five years of coverage. It has a full ten year warranty. I have a friend that lives out of area that works in the field that told me the price was fair and its obvious while he was making money that he wasn't taking advantage of us. That's all you can ask for. It certainly shed some light on the other companies. This was back in the fall. This June while the unit was less than a year old, we had come back on a Sunday from a lake trip and we noticed the AC wasn't cooling properly. I called and left Joe a message on a Sunday night and I bet within 15 minutes I got a call back. He already knew what was going on with it b/c of a service bulletin on the unit (recall) It was just an additive that needed to be added to the oil. He had it fixed by noon the next day. WOW! Couldn't have been more impressed with the timely response in such a busy time of the year for them. I have over 330 pest customers myself, not including my termite customers and I tell just about all of them I can about Joe and I wanted to share my experience here as well. I hope others can enjoy their wonderful service and experience what great people they are. It's always painful paying that kind of money but it made it a little less painful dealing with such great folks and I couldn't recommend anyone more highly.

They are a small company. I had heard such good things about them. I didn't have to do an upgrade on my systems but I opted with them. They did a very good job. They are very responsive. Their clean up went well.

After finally discovering that my old unit just could not be repaired I was pretty frustrated. I knew I was going to need an entire new unit and it's not cheap. I called three different business's and was pretty frustrated with the quotes. I knew about Joe so I decided I would make one more phone call. I told him to please come out and see what he could do for me. Him and his wife had always seemed like such great people so I was optimistic. He came out and of course could not have been nicer and more professional. Just a super great guy. It's pretty obvious from the moment you meet with him or talk to his wife who helps place the orders for the equipment. He said to give him a bit and he would get back to me promptly with some prices. I did not have to wait long. He called me shortly after he had lunch and I was VERY pleased. He offered two different options which were both very reasonable and a few hundred bucks cheaper than the other companies. This was an easy decision. I asked when he could do it and he said the very next day which I was not expecting but was happy to hear. Even though it was still an expensive process, it was much less painful dealing with Joe. The quality of the work was amazing. Joe even came out himself after the work was done to show me how to work our new digital thermostat and he even turned in the paperwork himself so we could get the extra years on the warranty. He went above and beyond and seemed genuinely happy to do it. He took the time to talk with me and to make sure I was happy. You can tell he is not in it just to make a buck but that he really enjoys taking care of his customers. It's very hard to find great service these days but there is NO question that Joe and his wife are as good as it gets as far as taking care of their customers. I would absolutely call him again and I recommend to anyone that I come in contact with that might need this particular type of service. I'm pretty picky but could not have been more impressed. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a service company.

The installation went very well, and we are very happy with our new HVAC system. Joe was efficient, courteous, and professional from the initial contact through the installation. Joe, the owner of the company, is the person who met with us to discuss our needs. He also prepared recommendations and estimates for us and personally directed the installation. There were never any greasy sales tactics. The entire crew also made a good impression. They completed most of the work in one day, returning the next day to seal ducts and vents and complete cleanup. They probably left our home cleaner than they found it. Everything went exactly as Joe promised.

We got estimates from several companies, and Joe was head and shoulders above the rest. Joe gave us the best price, but even before we got the estimate, we were already leaning towards hiring him. He was honest and straightforward during the initial meeting and patiently answered all our questions. When we asked him to come back a second time to answer more questions, he stopped by the same evening.

We highly recommend Joe Cool HVAC. We feel that he is honest, knowledgeable, and fair in pricing.

Joe and his crew did an awesome job! The crew was here on time, at my preferred appointment time. They went right to work and had the job completed, the unit tested and finished up in less than 2 1/2 hours. Joe was even able to save me some money by being able to re-use my current concrete base for the new unit. He could have easily replaced it for no reason but chose to be honest and saved me $75.00. That is AWESOME! The installation very professionally done. Cleaned up after the job well. The Trane unit is as nice a looking unit as I have seen. This was important as it is in full view from side of house and these newer units are much larger than the old ones. I can't say enough about how professionally the installation is. Joe is a great guy and was very helpful in making the final decision as to size and did the calculations for deciding on the SEER value unit to install. I very highly recommend Joe Cool.

When I woke up and made my way downstairs Tuesday morning, I immediately realized the heat was out on the 1st floor. I immediately called Joe Cool HVAC and reached Joe himself. He said that he would be able to come by that morning. By 9:30am our heat was working again.
We have utilized Joe Cool HVAC several times over the last 5 years or so. Joe and his staff are professional and courteous. Whenever I have a HVAC issue, Joe is always my first call.

I called in the morning and I was pleased to speak to Ellen, Joe's wife. She was freindly and assured me that Joe would make it out today. She went over the cost structure and let me know that she will give me notice when Joe was on his way. I was thrilled to know that "Mr. Cool" himself was going to do the repairs instead on a hired tech. I feel that when an owner is directly involved with his company things go well. After all there is no one else to blame when things don't. Joe Cool is a local business with the owner doing the hardwork himself. I am always in favor of supporting local businesses when I can, and am always pleased when they deliver as promised. My heat is working great just minutes after he was finished with the job.

Joe is easy to contact, fast to respond, efficiently diagnosing problems and repairing on the spot and he isn't "trying to retire" on your service call. If Joe can fix it, he will not replace it.

Absolutely wonderful. Joe's service is second to none. His quote was $$ thousands, that's right, thousands less than the closest competitor's price. The team was very respectful and hard working. They were on-time, professional and very responsive to my concerns. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family.

This house is new to us and we wanted to make sure the heating part of the heat pump was working as it should. A very nice young man named Reed came and inspected everything and explained everything. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He worked diligently and was finished in about an hour. I will continue to use Joe Cool HVAC!
