My service engine soon light had been on for quite some time. I have a 10 year old Mitsubishi Diamante and every time the service engine soon light has come on it's been the #2 O2 sensor. I assumed that was the case this time as well. I took the car in for an oil change and told Jim about the service engine soon light. He'd had several interruptions throughout the day (he's kind of a one man show) and wasn't able to fully investigate the cause of the light being on, but he thought it might be an issue with the vacuum. When I found time to bring the car back for further inspection turns out 3 of the O2 sensors were not working properly. Jim explained that someone had put German sensors in the car and apparently they don't work well in Japanese made cars.
$425 later I had 4 new O2 sensors. Jim only charged me for three and went a head and replaced the last one since he said it would probably mess up eventually. He also gave me a 15% discount since I use him for everything.
I have been using Jim for years. He used to work out of his backyard and simply loves what he's doing. I constantly find myself saving money with him and he does great work.
