Our heater was not working. He came out once to get it working; it stopped working a week later, he came back on the same day and replaced the "board" at no charge! Wonderful, professional and friendly. Would definitely call upon them again.

As a Realtor, I come across a lot of HVAC technicians and I've never found one that is as honest, reliable, and professional as Robb Howard. I happened to meet him because he was inspecting a home I had listed. His explanation of what was wrong with their HVAC was very thorough and honest. The sellers decided to hire him to install a new system. I was so impressed with him, that I called on him to service my personal home's HVAC system. He showed up on time, was very thorough, professional, and courteous. As a bonus, his prices are very competitive. I will continue to use Robb and refer him often!

Robb effectively created a base proposal with options. He gave us plenty of time to think through what options we really needed. He helped us think through the most cost effective way to complete the upgrade for our situation. He accomodated a tight installation window so that we could have my elderly father out of the way during installation. The project was finished on time and on budget. Robb was a gentleman to consider our personal challenges of making the changes for my father's home.

About 2 days after moving into my home during a record setting heat wave around the 4th of July, my A/C went out. I called the home warranty company the seller had provided to me and was prepared for the worst. However, I was blown away by the quality of service and professionalism by the company they assigned. The owner, Mr. Howard, called me himself on the July 4th holiday and said gave me an appointment for the next day.
He arrived about 15 minutes EARLY and when I met him at the door I got the most professional greeting I think I've ever received from any repairman. He was clean and neatly dressed and he introduced himself and provided a card to identify who he was. When he came inside he got straight to work and was very respectful of our house and took care to make sure he did not damage or disturb anything, including a napping 1 year old in the room next to where he was working. He quickly diagnosed the problem and then went to the outside unit and made the appropriate repairs quickly and efficiently. He explained what had broken, what he did to fix it, and even showed me the faulty component that needed to be replaced. He even cleaned up the unit and made sure all the other parts were working properly and the house was starting to cool down before he packed up and left. (He actually waited about 10 minutes longer than he probably needed to in 100+ degree heat while waiting for the power company's restrictor to shut off just to make sure everything was fixed.)
I was very impressed by the quality of Mr. Howard and will most definitely be calling him again the next time I need HVAC work and for all of my preventative maintenance needs as well. I really can't say enough good things about my experience with Express.

I found Express Heating and Air, Inc. through Angie's List and through a marketing campaign they were doing with another website. I called to make my appointment and the person on the other end of the phone was courteous and helpful; when I had a question they put me in touch with Robb Howard the owner.
The appointment date came and Robb came to perform the service work and arrived on time. When it came time to come into the house to access the unit upstairs to inspect and clean the drain, he was thoughtful enough to have booties so he would not track any dirt into the house. When it came to inspect the downstairs unit, he brought me outside to show me some simple steps I could take to keep the unit running efficiently without having to call him. Most groups would not do this and rather you pay them again to come out and take care of the work.
I will definitely use and recommend this company to friends and family. I feel Express Heating and Air has an outstanding level of customer service and care about the work they perform.
