+ 3 morePat Aprea is a very nice guy and very congenial to work with. He came to the house, assessed the work we wanted done, and provided an estimate within a couple of days. He worked us into his schedule and began the work within a week or two. He created a payment schedule that included a small down payment then several progress payments based on completing actual units of the work we agreed on (e.g., Payment 1 when siding finished, Payment 2 when pressure washing and painting prep done, Payment 3 when windows and doors replaced, Payment 4 when painting completed, etc.) Then left a $1000 payment at the end so that we could make sure that all work was completed and odds and ends tied up before making the final payment. He and his crew were pleasant to work with, kept in touch about scheduling and other matters, and did really nice work. When they were finished the house looked great and I knew the job was well done.
Description of Work: Complete external maintenance of our house, including siding repair and replacement (cedar siding); fascia and soffet replacement; window and door replacement; pressure washing, and painting. Other bidders told me that I would have procure the siding myself because they did not want to be bothered finding cedar siding. Pat never even mentioned anything like that. He just got the siding, and did the work in a professional manner. Pat also gave me some advice on other work that I was going to be doing around the house that he was not even responsible for. He's a licensed electrician, but did not do any electrical work for me. I will definitely hire Pat Aprea if I ever need any work done on the house again. (He said he may change the name of his company from 'Horizon Contracting' to something else, so when you read this, that change may have been made. Just make sure the owner if Pat Aprea.
