Homewood Nursery is my number one choice for landscaping needs. Good place to go in the Spring and Fall. If you visit late in the growing season in October you will find some very good bargains. Their selection is larger than any other I have seen unless you want to drive to Angier, but they have a lot more variety of trees, flowers, plants. Quality is quite good overall, but you will find some things a little picked over. We got two nice 8-10 ft crepe myrtles for our front yard landscaping project and at a very nice price. Good help may be hard to find at the Nursery due to it's sheer size, but when you can find someone to help they are seasoned experts at what they provide. I usually go here first for my landscaping projects.

I think it is the finest nursery in Raleigh. The people there are friendly and knowledgeable. They will take you around to help you find what you need. The facility is very nice and they offer promotions throughout the year.

I've visited this nursery twice this year and found the people extraordinarily helpful. I've purchased shrubs and perennials here and I love the variety they have available, from annuals and seasonal specials to shrubs, perennials and trees. Great place to buy plants, and even better when you have questions or tricky situations.
