I was a member of their annual program for 5 years and really appreciated their services - techs are great and services were always on time and complete. However, I missed a payment a few months back with the pandemic and issues with USPS. I got a late notice finally and when I called them to pay I left a message and they never called me back. A few weeks later I get a notice from a collections agency. I called Home team, again no answer, no one called me back, Finally I got through and made my payment over the phone. Have an emailed receipt. I told them that after 5 years of service I was disappointed that they sent me to a collections agency (it really unnerved me) and was losing trust in them and wanted to cancel. Just call me back? They didn't even try to get my business back. Flash forward one month and I get another collection notice for the same amount I paid! Now I am being threatened with collections company over $100 that was paid a month ago. I'm calling and calling and no one ever answers haven't received a return call. This company does a great job with its pest service but unless you want to tarnish your credit report I would look to another of the highly-reviewed pest services on this site.

Representative arrived on time, we did the paperwork quickly and he did a thorough job with the initial treatment. The only difficulty I had in the whole process was that they never responded to two requests for a quote through the Angies List messaging option (I waited a few weeks betwen attempts) and the phone rings for a very long time before anyone picks up. If you are considering contacting them, expect some communication difficulties, but they were responsive once I overcame these hurdles.

They were contracted before I bought the house, I just continued to use them. I don’t have any complaints about them. They come out about 3 times a year. They charge me $60 something every time they come out. I inherited them so I kept them. I only met him once and I think there is different people that do it every time, but he was very nice. He explained exactly what he was doing, and what he could and couldn’t do. If I scheduled for them to spray for pest inside they would do that. He was polite and professional, there was no complaints.

Our home is set up with a pesticide system inside the walls.  They come out and spray inside of the walls the pesticide that is safe for both humans and animals.  They also do a perimeter check around the home for pests. It's $100 a quarter.  I wouldn't even think of switching companies. The workers very professional. They will send you an email to tell you who is coming and when they will be there.  They will text you when they're on their way to perform the work.

Usually, I won't give any service a rating that low. I am doing this not only because they not only didn't do a good job but also cheated. When their customer service called me last week to renew the contract and schedule a new service, I told them that I wanted to discontinue the contract and service because they failed to address a spider issue for the last service. The customer service person insisted to connect me to the service team although I made it clear that I wanted to discontinue the contract. When connected to the service team, I was told that they could come and take care of the issue the next day. When they came the next day, they couldn't solve the issue (a lot of spiders under the roof) because they couldn't reach that high (~25 feet). However, they offered to treat the lower spots. From the very beginning to the end, no one mentioned to me that it was an new service. When they asked me to sign a paper at the end, I assumed it was a document for retreatment as before (stupidly enough) and didn't pay attention to the content. Then when I called Hometeam customer service again, I was told that I had a $98.40 pending charge because they just provided a new quarterly service. I can't believe that they did that. If they think that they keep a customer like that, they are completely wrong. I am discontinue the service whatever.

We went with this company because they were the only one who can do the Taexx in-wall poison/tube system in our new home.  Also, our builder gave us one free year of a termite warranty with them, so we just continued the service.  Overall, they have kept the bugs, spiders, carpenter bees and wasps outside at bay, but there are many other things they will not do.
We wanted to get a moisture test done for our upcoming warranty inspection.  Most termite companies offer a free moisture test to their customers.  Home Team does not.  I ended up calling another company to do that.
I found a hole in my crawl space, and Home Team thought it could be a vole hole.  They do not deal with rodents, so they gave me the info to their sister company and I paid over $100 to have someone tell me that the hole was manmade.
We had wasps getting into the house and Home Team was not able to figure out how to stop them from coming in.  We paid their sister company $800 to install a mesh on one of our bathroom fans.
If you have a wasp nest on a high eve on your house, HomeTeam cannot take care of that, or anything that involves a ladder, you'll have to call another company.  They also cannot spray your grass for pests.
We pay $400 per year for pest control with HomeTeam and another $125 (I believe?) for the termite warranty.  To their credit, when I complained about having to call multiple providers to take care of pests, they gave us a discount.  Also, the guys they send out are always professional, nice and super quiet.

Our experience was positive. It didn't cost anything because it's part of our annual agreement. We were selling our house at Durham and then the buyers had their inspection come out and they found non active termites because of the season, but they found termite tubes inside our crawlspace. Since we had an annual agreement with the company, they came out and treated the whole crawlspace. They didn't have to. By contract they only have to treat the areas where they find termites or tubes but because it was so important and it was our second time of seeing them since the house is only 2 1/2 years old. The second time that they have been out to treat, they decided to treat the whole crawlspace which was over and above what they had to do.

They come every six month to check. To me it was just easy to use them because that's who a lot of my neighbors use. They are doing a fine job.

They're good. I have no problem. It's a little pricey.

I had them for 5 years and they were good. They would come and leave me information on what they found if I wasn't home. They were professional. They would always address my specific needs at the time.

First, they call and leave word "they are coming" the next day, so very little notice. Second, from what I observe they simple walk around the house with a tank on their back and spray. I have never seem them look closely to sections of the house accept sometimes if I leave the garage door open they will spray inside. My biggest problem is ever since they brought out my original pest control company I get less and endure a price increase every 6 months (5%). Since I have no real notification (they put in small print on their prevoius bill they plan to increase their price, but good luck taking notice! I always call to ask and justify why the increase and they immediately cut the price increase in half.
I'm tired dealing with this company and have moved my business to someone who actually cares and understand customers don't like surprises. I will never use this company again and since I'm on our community HOA I've made sure they will not do business in my neighborhood.

They're always really great! Punctual, informative, respectful, and provide as much info as you need to understand what is going on.  They've been great!

Eric checked for the ants entry points and targets of interest. Then he thoroughly treated two key areas inside for the ants and did our quarterly service while here. Sprays were applied and after a few minutes he wiped the areas to remove any over spray and "puddles".

I have used Home Team since they purchased my previous provider several years back for pest and termite coverage.  Over the years it seems cost has gone up but quality of the pest control has gone down.  We were happy with the service in our previous home in Apex but when we moved to Holly Springs two years ago they have not been able to keep the ant problem under control.  It just doesn't seem that the quarterly applications are adequate.  I will be moving to another provider. 

I have a contract with them; I guess they come every 3 months. I think they are a little pricey, but they are the only ones that do a certain type of treatment I want. It involves tubes going into the walls of my house.

For whatever service I have, I try to use the one that they don’t put a lot of poison or chemical into the ground. I like that they don’t use the poisonous chemicals into the ground directly. I think they are good. Their price is a bit expensive. 

They are really nice, convenient, affordable and accommodating. They always call the day before they come. I don't have to be home when they come, but if I want to be here to let them in the garage to treat it they will do that. They come and do their thing; I have not had any bugs so they seem to be doing pretty good.
