Our mission is "Happy Pets & Happy Pet Parents". Pets left in our care deserve the very best. Your instructions will be followed precisely, and we promise to do everything possible to keep them as healthy and happy as if you were there with them. We make certain to find out what activities your pet enjoys. Whether it is playing fetch in the yard or going for a walk, chasing a laser light or simply belly rubs and back scratches, we follow the routine that brings them the most joy. Our team members understand how important your pets and home are to you, and recognize that providing exceptional service means good communication. We carefully listen to your concerns and needs and let you know how we will address them. After hearing about and following your specific pet and house care instructions, we also leave a diary to update you on the details of the service we have provided. We have many referrals from veterinarians and other pet sitting services, but the majority of our new customers come from customer referrals, and we are confident your experience will lead you to recommend our service to your friends, family and neighbors.

I evaluate potential employees in many ways, but an essential part is whether they have a demonstrated history of independent success in a professional environment. Our team members include a computer programmer, an engineer, an architect, two paralegals, a veterinarian, a medical office manager, a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, a retired pharma company chemist, and other professionals. In the case of your cat sitter, she has steadily advanced in an industry that has been undergoing a lot of changes both before, and during, the seven years she has worked with me. Another part of our Happy Pets, Happy Pet Parents experience is that employees choose their service availability. We all love dogs and cats of course, but we all have different special interests. As we discussed, your sitter (I’ll keep her name secret, too), is a real cat person. Other sitters may have more knowledge about certain breeds, or be adept at handling skills, etc. They also have different availability regarding location/proximity to clients, and visit timing. Every team member has the option of turning any particular service down. When they choose to accept a service, it’s because they can be happily involved in that particular service - happy employees creates happy clients. The sitter keeps a log of each visit and details how it went. It warms my heart to read the day-to-day happenings and interactions between the sitter and my babies.
