He provided and supervised subcontractors for custom cabinetry, tile work, granite counter tops, plumbing, electrical, new venting, painting, wallpaper, and general carpentry.  (We purchased the appliances and some materials separately, which he installed.)   This sort of remodel can be very disruptive since you are without a working kitchen for several weeks and there are literally 7-8 separate contractors involved who have to be scheduled around one another.  But Chris made the process as painless as could be.  He was in touch virtually every day, was always present to supervise the subs, and followed up on every single little detail so that the result was virtually perfect.   He exceeded our expectations in almost every area, and we are wildly happy with the result.  His background as a supervisor for a national home builder combined with his natural conscientiousness makes him really good at remodels. 
We had previously dealt with Chris on a couple of exterior repair and rebuilding jobs, which is why we chose him to do the kitchen work.  Overall, he is by far the best contractor we've worked with in more than forty years of home ownership.
