After charging us close to $500, we had a couple carpet samples, two upholstery swatches, and a handful of paint chip strips. Some possibilities, but no design plan. The samples and teal and cream colors were nice, but unfortunately, not a lodge look.
Their flooring and painting contractors turned in bids over our budget and about half again as high as bids we obtained later. HD charged us 2.5 hours for obtaining these bids.
I toured several houses in the Parade of Homes that HD had provided design and staging services. They were quite lovely.
Though they clearly can provide excellent design services for others. HD was not a good fit for us.
